The only thing I'd fix is the sensitivity on the L2/R2 buttons. Sometimes when I run to pee, I put the controller down, and in games like BFBC2 and Uncharted 2, I accidentally throw a grenade killing myself.
Other than that and a larger battery, the controller is fine. Miles better than the clunky, non-responsive 360 controller.
The PS3 version is the SUPERIOR version. Xbox 360 fanboys are just butthurt because of the extra content the PS3 is getting. This game is in 720p, not subHD. CRY MOAR BOTTIES.

It has come to my attention that apparently the PS3 version of this game could possibly be sub-HD . As such, you should all cancel your 360 preorders, and preorder the PS3 version instead. Why you ask? Well, aren't all of your other games in subHD? You should buy what you have seen countless number of times. I mean, for the console to earn the nickname Xbox 576p after Final Fantasy... and Xbox 540p after Alan Wake, you just kinda get use to all of the subHD games.

Game of the Year awards are dependent upon two things: the scores on which they receive and the time they are released. Unfortunately for Mass Effect 2, the latter will cause it to lose several Games of the Year awards. For instance, did you happen to a movie at the beginning of January? Okay, now, let's say you watch a movie in December. Here come the Oscars and Emmy Awards... now which movie will be fresh in the critics' minds?

GameOn, by shooter console, I think MajesticBeast means terms of sales of shooters sold. I mean, look at Call of Duty MW1&2, Halos 1 through 500, Gears 1 and Gears of Lag 2... All of these games are now in the upper single-digit millions. Now take a look at your 'variety of games' like BK: Nuts and Bolts, Forza 3, and Viva Pinata... They haven't even tapped two million.

I think Sony smartened up. They saw what a potential year head start can do so they want to get the ball rolling before Natal comes out so they can steal away the 'hype.'
OpenGL is the better of the two. DirectX is just easier to program thus there's more support behind it thus the better looking it is. OpenGL can do astonishing things.
DirectX is also used on the Xbox 360 and well, just look at most of their games. :]
