History is not an afterthought, it is the soup in which this game lives in. It's the whole reason for the game's existence.
I find it amazing how Ubisoft can take historical figures and events and weave their tale into that context.
It's not the other way around.
Yes, various games have executed this mechanic better than others, but all of the time periods used so far have been very interesting times in human history, and the assassins that populate thos...
Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about your comment.

If that's the case I don't see how Nintendo can even imagine "winning back the customers lost to PS4 and Xbox One"
It's just not going to happen.
It's the WiiU all over again.
Pains me to say it but Zelda has no sense of progression and it's pretty soulless. You can paint that anyway you want. It won't change that fact. Horizon is fun, epic and has fantastic controls. I wouldn't compare the two simply because in my mind Nintendo exists in this bubble. Whether it's good or bad it's up to each individual fan.
If it's a multiplayer only game I'm not interested.
If it's a clone of Gears of War/ Fuse I'm not interested.
If it's a clone of Overdraft or overkill or Overwatch (I forget), I'm not interested.
Shame cause I like Mercury Steam and all they accomplished with Lords of Shadow.
I love Metroid but I hated the first person view games. I want something cool other than switch to FPS mode.
The last one Other M wasn't bad, the story was pretty insane but the game was solid.
Hey, they added FUN to this series, not just driving. Thing is I don't think they'll have the level of destructibility needed to pull something like this off. Like Burnout did it (oops there it goes again. wanting to talk about fun arcade racers and no matter how hard everyone seems to want to bury Burnout...it just comes right back out)
Add Slip Second to great arcade racers also will ya.
Yeah I've been saying this forever. The games available are stale and/or old crap...I bought a new system, I want to play new games and I don't want 1 million indie games. I want double A and triple A games.
No sir. I love strategy games, even grand strategy game slike Europa Unervisalis. But this game is a mess of epic proportions but the most offensive problem is that it's uninspired, bland and dry. Those are three killer nails for this or any strategy game.
If it's unexciting then why bother? That the whole point of this to draw excitement and make your customers and potential customers want to be playing on your hardware.

You have a great point. I myself have stated 1000 times on this site that indies are indies and should never have been made to be fillers or stop gaps for gamers.
Where are the double A games?
Chainsaw Lollipop, Never Dead, Spaltter house? These were delicious B grade games that keot my library fresh and exciting. Instead im playing horrible indie games that are just that independent with piss poor budgets. For some reason they all want to be either to ...
Im an over 40 year old gamer and the truth is ill buy whatever interests me. Ive made piece with my backlog problem long ago.
Im even more wiser today than i ever was in my 20s when it comes to buying games. Discounts, sales, moving to digital have all been awesome ways to get what i want.
The problem for me is not hiw long the game is. I dont mind a 100 hour game..my issue is how they are designed.
Modern games dont take into account my limited ...
Thing is i like each ass creed fir what it is and the time period it belongs in more than a cool feature or game mechanic of past games. If ubisoft is making a jack of all trades type game thats cause for concern not praise. They have reached critical mass and are looking for a golden goose egg, rather than innovate and make good stories in interesting timelines.

I was considering buying this and then I saw the price. I like Zombies but not that much.

system shock/bioshock in space
Man, this would be amazing! An Amazing series in an underrepresented genre in gaming.
Please, please be true.
My body is ready. I've been waiting years for this!
This game looks like utter crap. You stopped production of Fable over this?
WTF?!
September huh? That would be epic if its true.
