1st being profit. ur catering towards something that has fans and will most likely buy the remake to see it improved.
2nd is being able to fully realize ur product. do things in this current gen that was not possible 2-3 gens ago.
there are other reasons but those are the main ones
well hopefully the sword combat is way better, hated it in the first one, didnt finish the game cuz i was bored. moral stuff was cool but gameplay just needs to be better
xbox is greedy, and aslong as the fanboys keep paying MS will keep charging for online play. because everyone (yes even the hardcore fanboys) knows if gaming online was free NO ONE in their right mind wud pay for live.
why? cuz they wud just be paying for cross game chat
because if i remember correctly 360 has less multiplayer games. COD, gears and halo are the only games really played on 360.
and chat with 7 friends has NOTHING to do with playing online.
besides cross game chat is useless if ur doing something like team deathmatch or anything team oriented in a game. why talk to ur friends while playing if ur team mates cant hear u?

ofcourse its over the course of 3-4 years but u know what happens? u go from playing at high specs to medium high to med etc etc.
while a consoles life normally see's increase in performance and last 8-10 years.
dont get me wrong, games like fallout, obvlivion and mass effect are way better on pc but theres downsides to pc gaming aswell
yeah thats why most gaming news is about console gaming, because so many people care about PC.
dont get me wrong i having a gaming pc and some games are better on pc, but the fact is i cant play GOW3, LBP, MGS4 Alan wake, Gran turismo etc etc on my pc, soooo yeah
plus upgrading all the time is BS
yes but the ps3 doesnt over heat, yet the 360 does and sounds like a fighter jet.
in the winter my ps3 is a good secondary heat source :)

lol trust me i know its easy to install games, and to install a theme u have to hit the giant x button go into ur profile and change it. i just think its odd way of doing it. and yes i have owned a halo edition 360 since ninja gaiden 2 came out....thats 3 years????

its to far into the console gen to not have a ps3, GO GET ONE, theres no rrod's or online fee's to fear, the only fear ya shud have is where will u find all the time to play all the good exclusives u missed
