Heck, it's not even using the same game engine for crying out loud. On the other hand, you got MS touting Halo 3 (THREE): ODST and GTA IV (FOUR): Ballad of Gay as full games. Yeah f'ing right. You guys lost it I tell you. Those are the same content you bought years ago with additional content.

I believe Santa Monica will use the source code from the PS2 GoW games to port them running on native PS3 hardware. That way they could probably add trophy support and probably enhance the graphics a bit. No form of emulation will be used.
