I douubt they will release a new javelin anytime soon, they understand that the game needs a lot of work before they release stuff like that.
They also explained after that that anthem with dragons doesnt mean its the anthem gameplay but with dragons. They use the backbone of Anthem to program DA4 so they dont need to relearn programming their game again as was the case with Andromeda, DA: I and Anthem. What they said wasnt about gameplay but more about how what code they use for it. Mark Darrah leads the project if im not mistaken, he also led DA:I so I do have some hope that DA4 will turn out fine.
DA:I was a G...
doubt it, CDPR owns all the rights to the games (based on the book or not) as far as im aware.
they said a stat screen was coming at launch already, I doubt its in the next 3-4 months. I think the main reason they didn't do a stat screen is because their stats didnt work and the moronic scaling they implemented for certain thing.
Sometimes I would do lets say 100 damage per shot, I reload the map and go in again (same difficulty, same enemy) and all of a sudden I do 73 damage per shot, it was just not working properly and showing that on a stat screen would actually prove ...
If they actually make the game good the could go f2p if they made some good cosmetics and sold those for money. That would require them to totally revamp endgame and loot at the least and then to make good looking cosmetics (all they released so far were mediocre at best). I doubt they can make it happen considering the mess they are in currently.
its "you think you do, but you don't"
I lost faith in Blizzard mostly as well, but the way they are handling classic WoW does give me some hope that they can learn from it and be better because of it. Time will tell
ahum, Fantasy May Cry of course...
swords and guns
@ricegum
when Sony was the only company that didnt want cross play and didnt allow it, on top of that they locked fortnite acccount to ps4 if you every logged into it on ps4, even if you spend 2000 dollars on the switch for that account, losing all your cosmetics. So yes, I'd say that is purely Sony's fault, maybe a bit epics fault for allowing Sony to use these cancerous methods to lock epic acounts to their platform.
I almost forgot about the stupid episodic release...
Really turns me off, playing 1/3 of ffVII 20 years later or something.....then waiting another couple years just to get 2/3
the companies they own worked on TR and Deus ex,, how is that not a square game? They are also published by square (at least Deus ex is, not sure about TR cause of the xbox excclusivity),so what isnt a square game about this?
If you think square enix is still squaresoft and anything other than a jrpg they make isnt a "square game" you're wrong, this is square now.
and project octopath traveler, and bravely default. deus ex, tomb raider
Im sure you forgot some others as well.
I thought trailers were made to make people buy a game?
I dont think anthem is an rpg either but if we look back, "looter" games (diablo, dungeon siege etc) were called action rpg's back in the day. Destiny/Anthem/Division are basically diffferent versions of those games, with a diffferent playing perspective and in the case of Anthem or in the case of personal taste some are/can be called very poorly executed. I don't think it's too far fetched to call Anthem an rpg, since you still build your charcacter (very poorly buildup...
Elder scrolls is still one off the games that define the rpg genre, I wouldn't call it the bare minimum. Every single player elder scrolls game has made a huge impact in the rpg genre, thing is skyrim is so old now that we haven't seen a modern Elder Scrolls game anymore. yes skyrim wasn't perfect and they did dumb it down a bit but it's still an rpg.
What they meant with DA4 being a live service is that they will continue to work on it and release more cocn...
no, thats was not that happened. Japanese studios still created mostly rpgs, just not that many rpgs for ps3 and 360. Psvita/psp/ds/3ds/wii got a shitton of rpgs during that time.
what renaissance? The've always had a ton of rpgs
the way they did that paid beta gave them away.
paid beta for a free mod that they are now maybe not even gonna release
Nintendo is pumping out quite some games, most of them high quality. Be patient.
Main reason my parents bought me and my brother a ps1 instead of a n64 was because n64 games were almost 50% more expensive than ps1 games.
tbh I thought the story was really bad, there were 2-3 good moments but that was about it, especially for a Bioware game.
I do agree that the game is fun for the first 15-20 hours or so, trying new javelins, figuring out how to move as fast as you can, getting new guns, but once that is over there is just nothing to do in the game.endgame just evolves around doing dungeon A 500 times, or killing 250 of the same enemies and that kind of stuff, there arent that many guns and most of th...
