I thought getting 1st party games day 1 on a subscription service was a bad thing, funny how that changes
@chevalier the consoles itself don't make that much money, it's all about the fees the console manufacturer gets from game sales. It's why they sold ps3 at a loss at launch, because getting people into their ecosystem is way more important than making a couple extra bucks of the console itself.
Mac and Linux aren't interchangable words, shows how much you know about it. Love the tinfoil hat btw!
@hereandthere I don't think GT is as much of a system seller as it used to be. It would make more sense if they kept Horizon, GoW and TLOU exclusive if they wanna go that route. I'm happy they are releasing them on pc though.
If they release their exclusives on pc 1 year after launch, I might even consider not getting a ps6 and just getting the controller. 500+ more that I will be able to spend on upgrading my pc.
@neutral goes for every camp. Sony fans defend sony no matter what they do, shit on the other 2 and everytime a good game from nintendo comes: it only gets this high rating cause they're a cult. And vice versa.
The problem on n4g is that most of the people prefer sony (which is totally fine, i prefer them out of the big 3 as well) and it's basically impossible to discuss anything about ms or nintendo without zelda goty saltyness gets brought up or quotes from 13 ye...
keep thinking that if it makes you sleep at night
Maybe I'm being way too optimistic but I feel like they can't be that dumb to try it again
Just let Bungie make a new Resistance game, it's a match made in heaven.
didn't bethesda already try this before and failed miserably?
"The problem is that this isn't Sony's content, it's Discovery's content." then why did they allow users to purchase it when they obviously wouldn't be able to provide the content indefintely. How about telling your users when they bought it that it expires in 2023?
You really accusing Louis of being anti sony? The guy who stood up to protect consumer rights with his right to repair movement? right buddy, try again. No doubt in my mind he would...
@einhander Do you think discovery just thought one day: let's just remove all content from Sony cause fuck em or that there maybe was a license for the content and that Sony didn't renew? discovery can't just pull content, it's all contractual and sony decided to let users purchase the content with the risk of it being removed and not telling them. It's pretty disturbing how far people are up sony's ass. Kinda scary when their die hard fans just gulp it up and swallow ...
cause 15 was trash.
and Sony decided to allow users to PURCHASE the content while they didn't have the rights to it, it's not on discovery. Maybe they had a contract that said it ended in 2023. The least Sony could do is refund the customers, but sony can't be arsed to do so.
Mr_cheese except we really don't know what they're paying for their games, just as we don't know how much ps+ pays for them either. It' kind of funny though, the ps enjoyers here cling to things phil said 13 years ago but as soon as a quote of him doesn't fit their narrative he's a liar etc etc.
You're right that gamepass is mostly focussed on future gains, but they can't just publicly lie about this. Especially after the whole approval proce...
The combat was really fun and even though the main quest was pretty mediocre, the character storylines were incredibly well done. I think a lot of people also liked the keep and the decision making of it, although it became quite grindy fast.
I honestly quite liked inquisition, but the game never gives you a single moment to breathe. The map was filled with so much useless bullshit collectibles that it didn't give me an actual sense of exploration, I was just following markers on the map. The world looked quite good although it didn't give me a sense of an open world that I could explore and I think I also never took the time to appreciate the world because it was so cluttered.
@isarai watching a playthrough of a game that's this action focused really doesn't give me a good idea of how a game plays and to base an article on watching a playthrough is a bit sketch. If you really thought it deserves a chance, you would have bought it at launch or by now.
I'd prefer if they kept it sprites and not 3d models, there's something about sprites in tactics games that just makes it fit way better than most 3d tactics games.
it wouldn't ship enough compared to other titles they can remaster I imagine. It definitely deserves a remake, but I think it's low on their list. If you want a similar game, you could try out Triangle Strategy (it's on steam now as well).
@everton So Days Gone, God of War, Spiderman, Horizon and Uncharted aren't exclusives now? Sony 1st party games will come to pc so according to your logic we should now called them timed exclusives?
