Steam however big it may be is a store/lobby for the platform PC, it is not the platform PC although many (including me) associate steam with pc. pulling something off xbox means you wouldnt be able to play it on that platform at all, in this case you can still play it on pc, just not through steam, The illusion that all games must come to steam forever and ever is so utterly dumb. tbh FF 7,8 and 9 are all pretty close to me in terms of quality. FF7 has a better story and villain, FF8 has better character customization and triple triad, FF9 has the most charm of all of them. FFF8 is by far my favorite of the 3 cause it was my first real jrpg, ff9 after that cause I love the setting of it so much and found the story and characters real charming. FF7 is really good, It just didnt connect with me that well.
You can get it on steam, otherwise I think you mean remaster/remake.

Bungie was the one who advocated for the smaller dlc's and the eververse because they couldnt produce the content they promised fast enough instead of taking the extra time Acti was willing to give them. Bungie also changed after they stoppped producing Halo games. Yes you want to keep thinking they are still the golden standard of gaming, they are not anymore.

I feel sorry for you, not being able to enjoy certain games because you think they are kiddie. I went through that period when i was around 11-15 as well, you dont want the kiddie stuff because you feel too old for it. once you mature you will realize it doesnt matter if a game looks kiddie or not, because you are not gonna care what people think about you playing kiddie games. All that matters is if you are having fun playing it or not.
Everyone had good things to say about it for 5 years? They hardly released any footage untill 6 months back or so. Nobody was even talking about kh3 besides about how long it was taking them to produce it and how much they wanted it.
same here, there are hardly any Halo's, wow's, Portals, smash bros's etc anymore. Games that totally define their genre, yes they continue to produce sequels or expansions but its not like 20 years back when you picked up a game of a genre you never played before.
I think this also contributed to the rising succces of indie games, since a lot of them put original twists on existing genres.
I actually think Advance Wars is a perfect fit for handhelds(goes for most tactics games), would be surprised if they release a new entry not on a handheld (exlcuding the 3d rts versions)
not only wait for the price to drop, but wait to see if a game actually lives up to its promises and isnt a total bugfiesta. There are very few devs I will buy games day 1 from. Sad state of the industry really, luckily there are still some that set great examples.
yes it has good graphics, but the rest remains to be seen. I hope it turns out well cause it does seem like an interesting game, but you cant be careful enough with game purchases these days.
I sure hope it returns. This is the first tactics game i played when it released on gba. Afterwards I went back to play a lot of other tactics games, tactics ogre, shining force, ff tactics (advance), disgaea and a couple others. Didnt enjoy advance wars on the ds that much, but it was still a good game. Would be pleased to see a new entry (on switch) as long as its not real time strategy like the gc/wii versions.
I dont think the delay itself does the franchise any favors....at all.
Rebooting a game that prob wasnt fun/good is a good thing, not seeing another metroid for 2 years isnt gonna do the franchise any favors.
