I hope more legendaries are added though DLC or events. I'm so dissapointed that we only get 3 in each game. Legendaries are always my favorite part of any Pokemon game.
@Name Ah yes, forgot about the birds. Still, not very many compared to prior games.
That's all well and good, but not everybody's into that. In fact, a lot of people aren't (EV breeding in particular).
Also, I don't think systems that have been in past games and are accessible before the post game should be counted as post game content. Post game content is like the Sevii islands in FR/LG or the Battle Frontier in Emerald.
I've been saying this from the day I finished it. The post game feels barren compared to past games. I spent over 100 hours in every GBA pokemon's post game, and maybe more than that in D/P/P, HG/SS. But in X/Y I can barely find anything to do besides the detective missions, the 3 legendaries and the battle mansion. If you aren't into "catching 'em all", there isn't much there for you. Very dissapointing.
What's this? I won?!

I doubt that we'll even see it then. 2015-2016 probably.
How many times is this article going to get posted, when it wasn't even an IGN employee who said these things? It was a blogger, not an IGN editor.
This isn't even a rumor. It's just "well, they've announced things there before and it's been a while since we saw a Fallout game, so maybe. Now give me clicks". Way to get my hopes up.
The 3 event Pokemon, probably. But not necessarily Mew. They have to include a file and character model for every Pokemon because people might have them in older games and import them, not necessarily because there's going to be an event around them.
The guy who posted this said he had modded the game files to make this happen. It was the same guy who found those 3 event Pokemon.
AMERICA!!
Nobody does anything beyond reading headlines anymore. Too much work apparently.
Holy s**t, are you kidding me? This is business. This is how it goes. Money trades hands, deals are made. It's not bribery, it's the way the world works. Bribery is money changing hands to get shady things done. Legitimate business is being done in these deals with contracts, investments, rights changing hands, the whole shebang. If anyone from any company read this, they would laugh.
Did Sony bribe Naughty Dog to get Crash, Jak, Uncharted and the Last of Us? No. They...
Did you read the article or any of the comments? It's Ziff Davis and PC Mag involved with this. The only connection is that Ziff Davis owns IGN. The author of the article is throwing them under the bus to get clicks, because he knows there's still people like you who use the "IGNorant" joke.
Lincoln was alive in the 1800s.
The guy admitted that he got bored and made this all up.

It feels very similar to Arkham City in terms of gameplay. If you haven't played the other ones, you CAN stat here since it's a prequel, but you might miss nods to the other two games.
@Highreshero I don't think the article is saying that the medium won't matter in a hundred years, but that the games that are popular now really probably won't be remembered. I think that's what you were saying, but I'm not sure.
In any case, yes, I'm sure some of the games will be remembered, but the majority of them won't.
@Hayabusa Actually, many people do have debates about how long video games will last. Most people fall on the same side as this article, but it's a debate nonetheless. Maybe nobody claims they'll last for 100 years, but there are questions about how long they'll last.
It's funny that gamers will cry about how "metacritic doesn't mean anything!", but then when it comes to a game they don't like it all of the sudden does.
