I am kind of glad that there is a negative review of the game because now my expectations have been lowered a little so the game can really impress me when it comes out in 2 weeks.

I really love my 360 and Kinect especially. I don't care for the Move. Also, You can download HD movies on XBL cheaper than buying Bluray.
I have thought over and over about buying a PS3 but there are only like 6 or 7 games that I want to play on it. If the PS3 had come out first I probably would have bought it instead of my 360. I love niche games like this one. Deadly Premonition was a favorite of mine last year. I prefer a good English dub over subs, but hey, I will take whatever I can get in a case like this. Bring Catherine over Atlus, however you can and whatever is more cost effective!
Is it just me or do the graphics look really subpar? Like PS1 almost.
I think Kinect is awesome. I have had many friends over just to try it out and they all dig it. Kinect Sports is a great game; it blows Wii Sports out of the water. Dance Central, of course, is fun and the Adventures game it came with (to show to new people). The best thing about it is how it makes you move around and burn off calories. I am excited about the 3 scary games coming out later this year for it. Not having to hold a controller is wonderful!

that ME2 is going to look like crap on the PS3? Ports from the Xbox 360 to the PS3 always end up looking like garbage.
I have never read Huckleberry Finn. And if it such great art then why was I never introduced to it in school long ago? Roger Ebert should play Shadow of the Colossus and then talk about art and video games. Okami was also beautifully done. And Silent Hill 2. What about games like Flower and Braid? Even Alan Wake still has people talking and discussing and imagining. Ebert needs to stop being so narrow in his views.

maybe it was the trailer but the animations for that looked weird. Also, during the segment with the dogs barking down beneath you before the whatever it was attacked, why did the dogs suddenly stop barking? And the guys screaming sounded really cheesy, shouldn't the dogs have been whining/shrieking too? But the dead deputies climbin up over the cliff was very cool. It looks cool and I hope it lives up to the 5 YEARS of hype. Thats the problem with games that take forever to come out. They have all that hype to live up to.
Darn, I really loved this game. It was so long and interesting. The characters were so COOL. They don't make them like this anymore. It's all war/FPS/shootemup now. Some others favs: Clock Tower 3, Kuon, Fatal Frame.

I don't know why there is so much hate for this game. I had a great time playing it! Leon's campaign was a harkening to the original series while Chris and Jake's campaign were more RE4 and beyond. I liked the stories and cutscenes and action. Ada's campaign (which was kind of a mashup of all styles) tied up everything neatly. I played it for probably 15 hours. What more could you want from a game?!? I can't wait for RE7!!
