Yes, very much so. The Japanese VG industry hasn't been able to move with its time. Technically, overall, they're a generation behind (and no, just a couple of games like GT5 or MGS4 aren't enough to prove me wrong), and in terms of narrative and gameplay, they're also stuck in the past.
That's exactly why most people who bought FF XIII are (very) displeased with it, and even their occasional decent action games (RE5, Vanquish, Bayonetta) even with somewhat pretty...

After Microsoft’s decision not to bother with HD.
Fixed.
Ca va tellement vrombir dans les chaumières que les guirlandes vont en tomber du sapin! :D

Oh f*ck
It's gonna roar so much in houses the garlands will fall from the christmas tree! XD
This is it guys. This is the moment we've all been waiting for...Gran Turismo 5 is finally about to be released! All the waiting during 6 long years, since the last GT, will become an afterthought when we're knee-deep in the campaign mode, having logged in 150+ hours.
MoU is excited as a virgin girl about to be ******! ;D ;D ;D
Wow, for a second there, I thought it was the Classic Game Room HD we were talking about. Glad it turns out it's not the guy from CGRHD, cause I wouldn't have watched his video reviews on youtube anymore, and it would've been a pity, cause they're fun.
if true. A mafioso that plays videogames... *facepalm*
Did he kill his last victim telling him/her "Game over"? And went back home and played some game, as if nothing happened?
More importantly: didn't the thought of his REAL LIFE victims (killed by gun fire or drugs or w/e) who will never get to enjoy a VG or whatever from real life anymore, somehow stop him from enjoying his game?
let's HOPE it actually is Starhawk. This rumor, as well as the name Starhawk itself, were purely invented by the media I believe.
How awesome it would be if it really was that. Imagine a game like Warhawk, but with a greater player count (thanks to the MAG breakthrough), and in space, where you could invade the other team's planet... :D
I'd like to be able to do that glitch to see Madison naked, now... I mean, come on.
my fellow gamers, is the day to celebrate, for this is the day when Gametrailers' true agenda is exposed to the masses in broad daylight! No matter how much they deny it: Gametrailers actually are a bunch of Micro$oft fanboys!
Kinectimals 8,5/10
WTF!
Who's next? Haa, I have the feeling that slew of reviews we're gonna have is going to be veeery instructive, very very funny to watch...
"If Kinect becomes nothing more than a replacement for the TV remote, it'll prove to be a winner"
???
Oh, I see, this is what you resort to when there's nothing but wrong to say about a M$ product? Make impenetrable comments that make about as much sense as a chimpanzee speaking chinese backwards as he's being drawn into boiling water? LMAO

"They have shut down almost all of their first party studios."
Like they had any, LOL. Next they're going to close all 2 of them: Rare & Lion head. SCE only has more than 10x that number after all.

"think they should left motion control to nintendo"
I think they should leave gaming to Sony & Nintendo.

You guys above are crazy? Manhunt was one of the biggest steaming turd ever seen! It sold on the name R* and the "Look at me! I'm a really violent man!" hype alone.
I could really do with a new Hitman installment however. I love IO Interactive's vision of a stealth game, minus the terrible enemy AI of course. Even a Classics HD Hitman collection would do it, even though I still own the 3 PS2 Hitman games.
As for Tenshu, I used to like that series dur...
"Waits for IGN's reviews of Kinect games...*
Just after that article from consolepress a little while ago. Coincidence, coincidence...
I don't think so. You're not fooling anybody anymore M$, you don't have 45 million working consoles in the wild. You're only a mere 400.000-500.000 units ahead (if that).
Enjoy it till you can, at the end of the year comes a certain game, it rhymes with "Man Furismo 5"...
what I've been saying all along. I foretold a while ago that sort of mist that wraps the whole PS3 / Xbox360 WW sales numbers would disappear and the truth would be exposed, and it would come as a shock to many. Well, here, it has begun.
A wise man once said: you can deceive one man once, and even deceive many people many times, but you certainly cannot deceive everybody all the time.
That said, it took a while this time for that everybody to realise the...
creamydingle + 10m ago Really the game hardly sold so who's going to buy the dlc is it even worth releasing?
Well, you can't blame them for trying anyway they can to make up for the downright disastrous sales of the game. I mean, the life of the studio must really be in jeopardy now. Wonder what happened...Could it be perhaps, that Microsoft & their console weren't the saving grace NT touted them to be???
Poor, poor, poor guys at NT, I honestly feel bad for them. They were whining to no end that Heavenly Sword sold "only" 1,5 million copies, and were so adamant about how they were going multiplatform next, like, that would allow them to sell 4 or 5 million copies or something, and it was like a gift from God himself not to have to work exclusively with Sony & the PS3 anymore.. Only to sell 80.000 copies, last time sales were reported.
I bet those 1,5 million copies of Hea...
the old N4G back? I mean, the one with the open zone? Man, I used to have a blast reading the lines which were left there. Now N4G isn't as remotely funny as it was... -_-
Here we go again with an article from what have to be defined as the most monomaniacal, immature, and hate-filled Microsoft fanboys at kotaku, whining again because the japanese don't wanna buy the xbox. Dang, those people really are stubborn, aren't they.
Love it or loathe it, the world outside of the USA has different points of view to you people! Not just the japanese, the europeans too, the russians, the people in the UAE...
