anybody who buys a Wii isn't getting it for next gen graphics. They're getting it for nostalgic games and it's questionable new gen gameplay.
Hehe, I'm actually waiting for that. I didn't go read any articles but I thought after the PS3 launched and xbox 360 sells millions in the next couple months that prices would have to go down.

what about your favorite movies or trilogies that you own. Your gonna want them in HD naturally. But what normal income and general customer wants to spend 500-1500 for a BR player. Or even better, how many households even have HDTV's to play the movies, I think around 3-5%.
Guys it's not like you don't have the options in Halo 2 to choose how many players you want. 1-1, 2-2, 4-4, 6-6, 8-8.
I want big games, just to try them. I want to see 4 tanks, 8 warthogs, 10 atvs flying around the map. The problem is the bigger the game the less you stand out. But the more epic. So there's pros and cons obviously. My guess is Halo 3 will have 32 players which is perfect, and will have many options inbetween. But even more than that, I WANT MORE VEHICLES...

And mikey, I think samsung are by far the best value and best performing for gaming HDTV's. Just look at the new 5 wheel DLP sets they have. Those are the best looking TV's on the market right now for gaming.

nope, upscaling dvd's through vga for me. Don't need to re-buy DVD collection, buy a 200-1000 dollar premature player, and don't run the risk of chosing the wrong format.

yah I just bought a vga for my samsung 23 lcd HDTV that I'm buying any day now. Also I'm using a old school crt 19" monitor right now so it works out perfectly. My PC is gonna be connected through DVI to HDMI in the samsung, and 360 though VGA.

okay first of all thinking tomorrows our "only chance" is a joke. But go all out if you want.
There won't be shortages because they'll know how many people have 360's so I don't think they'd ruin their chance of giving everybody the option of buying one on launch day. Because eventually they'll sell all of the first batch.
