HDTV's are still 500-700, that ISN'T affordable. Do you expect them to drop down 300 bucks in the next year or even 2 years? I didn't think so.
HD formats and next gen consoles are all going sluggish and lower than expected because of the cost. Nothing more, nothing less. The normal middle class consumer isn't going to think to himself, "hey, I need a HDTV." And than he'll think for what and figure out that spending close to 1000 on a HDTV + console/HD player ISN...

Anyways the reason PSP isn't selling anywhere close to the DS is because people don't want to play complicated graphically wowing games in the car. They want to have juvenial fun, like mariocart and what not.

Look, I'm going to be buying a new Samsung 23 incher to upgrade my CRT 19" crappy monitor. I don't need HDMI because VGA will do the job perfectly with HD resolutions. I don't need the 120gb REMOVABLE unless you could record HDTV on IPTV. If so I'll just buy one separately.

timmy, I am talking about the regular CRT HDTV's. Go to bestbuy or walmart. Any decent one, is going to be above 400-500. Which is outrageous to normal consumers and the majority.
