My comment was about how kinect can only do well if it is adopted by all gamer types (casual/hardcore) and this is not going to happen its a dead duck other than for the general wii shovel ware without the gems wii has.
The only way it could survive is when a wand/pointer is introduced which it Wiill be (double I was intentional).
I don't care if it does well or not, just hi...
BUT Kinect WILL sell very well and will have some games that match moves because (I personally bet within a couple of months after launch) there will be a super duper new peripheral from MS called kinectiwand or something that will then turn kinect into move!
This will happen, it has to for Kinect to even stand a chance and MS knows it too.

Both the sixaxis and dualshock can do this and no body uses that very often.
