Well, they hardly have any new and mature IP's, mostly some kid-stuff.
Currently people are only talking about X1 and PS4, like WiiU doesnt even exist, but once both systems launch, the flames will rise even higher and WiiU will be left in smokescreen.

SE mostly cares about Japan and Japanese people really like Lightning.
Nintendo stated that they are stopping Wii production in Japan, yet it still outsells X360, which according to MS is supposed to last 3 more years.
I think that pretty much shows the real picture.
As long as it makes profit there, no reason to avoid that land or any other.
Besides if X1 really want to succeed, then Japanese devs are very important.
Do You understand that indie developers eventually can grow into AAA-game makers? They just need more support, nowadays large budget games are coming close to Hollywood movies, so making and publishing them is not for everyone, like it was in NES/SNES times and before.

I think its pretty much obvious that all indies and small budget games, in other words non-AAA titles will always run at 1080p/60FPS on Playstation4?
ATM physics is the weak point, there are hardly any games where things break or move as they are supposed to. Many dead bodies still act like ragdolls (look at skyrim).
So yes, thats what needs improving.
