yeah unicron I gave up a long time ago trying to ease the pain of a depleted wallet brought on by some "offering(s)" from SCEA.
To be honest with you these people have been getting a lot of my money since 1995 and it's only gotten worse. Admittedly, shopping for groceries, clothing and shelter items have sometimes taken a backseat to the other family in our household:
The PlayStation family of consoles.
...and all momentum going into 2010. I really believe that the PS3 will be the last one standing at the end of this current gen console war. As a matter of fact, I know it will.

I have to respectfully disagree with you amigo. I love the update and think it's only going to make my experience better. Call me nuts, but as I've said a million times, I could give two shyts about all the in-game chat crap and cross game chat. I simply don't care about it and would never to v-e-r-y rarely ever use it....
I guess anything will work for emotional support at this point for the brand they represent, since on all other levels, the PS3 (slim or fat) has no rival whatsoever.
...for discerning consumers and hard core gamers like myself, spare the controller-free gaming crap (barf) and Milo interaction stories. I want to know what are you doing to ensure longevity and quality workmanship in your product going forward which has been an albatross for your hardware since day 1 and only continues to get worse...?

but look in the rear view mirror (close to your birthday) when the PS came along and dominated in good way. They did it for 2 console wars with one of the world's all-time best, Nintendo.
