Dominating? No it's not. It only services a minority of their own fans, let alone gamers in general. It doesn't make any money. I mean MS offered subscriptions for $1.00 and they still couldn't get numbers above a meager 10 mil. This thing is doomed to fail. It's a money pit. If MS can't increase the numbers drastically above what they have now, then it's curtains like Mixer.
I'm not in the least bit tempted to get their console or buy into their ecosystem. They haven't shown anything besides timed exclusives and GAAS games. If they are going to design their future MS studio games around meager content updates that are drip fed to the player so it can live for years and years on gamepass, then the quality will suffer. You want to not buy a PS5 because maybe, what if, and who knows, they might put all their games on PC. It's stupid and foolish. Think about it, if they put all their games on PC, there would be no reason to buy a PS5, and if people started buying PC's then they wouldn't sell all the other 3rd party games on the PSN store and they would lose out on Billions. Not to mention the 10's of Million...
No. You can't play PS5 or PS4 exclusives on PC. They finally put Horozon Zero Dawn on PC when the PS4 generation was ending. You're not going to get PS5 exclusives, or even many of the old PS4 exclusives for that matter. YOU NEED A PC AND A PS5. It's as simple as that.

@ DJSnotty, no I had a real and serious interest before their big recent stream. I wanted to WANT to buy an Xbox, but they bombed so hard and they embarrassed themselves. It was their chance to impress and they flopped. I guarantee you there were so many like me, hopeful to finally have a reason to buy an Xbox next gen, but they flopped. It's obvious where their future is going, and it's not pretty. Can you save money? yeah of course you can, but it feels cheap and of low quality.
