As much as I want to play this game, I feel like these linkages to the source material will diminish not enhance the experience for me. I'm probably just paranoid, but it all feels very forced to me.
Here's that entitlement thing again. But are gamers not "entitled" to a bit of dissapointment when a beloved franchise goes out of there reach? It's not unreasonable to get a bit angry over that.
However, with that said, internet hate and threats are never warrented. No matter how angry or dissapointed one may be.
Well I for one welcome this new Call of Duty. To survive COD needed to change. Its smart of them to do willingly while still in a leadership position. Hopefully it pays off for them.
Amazon have cut the price of the Kinect inclusive bundle in Italy, France and Germany. And sometime last week Microsoft cut the price of the Kinect-free bundle in Spain, but then said they made a mistake.
Seems suspect, don't you think?
The problem is that people still largely view games as toys, as childish.
And serious topics, like Gaza, shouldn't be belittled into childrens toys. Except that games aren't childish, are they?
Villains make the story. Seriously. In truth Batman is as popular as he is, because he has the best rogues gallery.
Hopefully Pagin Min is at least half as interesting.
This discussion is a bitof a non-starter. FIFA the video game, succeeds because it reflects the real world game. It really is that simple.
If budgets are increasing, then devs need to think about why that is the case. This is not an issue for consumers to worry about.
Weird as these may be, I think its great we have this level of diversity in the kinds of games available. Brilliant.
Yes. That is exactly the problem. But the concept is sound. Would it not be awesome to have access to all the games you could possibly want for a reasonable monthly fee? I would jump at that oppurtunity.
After Black Flag, I kinda developed Assassin's Creed fatigue.
I dunno if this one can bring me back.
Like everything, subscriptions aren't problem, its how you implement them.
If I knew for a fact EA was going to give me something every month for my fee, well then yeah, it might work.
Especially for this game, where customising is such a huge part of the game.
Its true, the G-man is kinda awesome.
I not sure thats true. Can you cite a source, please?
It all fun and games, right?
While I had a chuckle as well, it kinda of sad that it has to be this way.
My understanding is that on Amazon devices, like the Kindle Fire, Amazon has it's own app store and own apps. They control how these products work and many of them act as gateways to purchasing things from Amazon. That's why they're getting sued.
Finally Im gonna get to say this in context. Are you ready: Don't hate the player, hate the game.
IAPs are benigh, its problematic in how its used. No on complains about DOTA or Path of Exile or even Plants vs Zombies - ironically an EA game.
IAPs can be really awesome. But like everything, add a little greed sauce and then things go pear shaped.
But did you actually read the article? It a guide to what each of the services offers, specifically as they apply to the Xbox One and PS4. This article isn't about "who won", it's about giving people that haven't made a decision yet as to what console they want, more information to make an informed decision.
A video game with sound? What will they think of next.
Like i said it's probably paranoia, but Tolkien's text is very defined and exacting. So when outside groups try o create new stories there's always the chance that they will contradict the established works. And that can really draw me out of the story.
Doesn't mean that will happen. Just a concern.
