Apparently Ethan Carter is due out some time next year for the PS4.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - We need more games like this, that make 'S' out of FPS.
That genre is so ripe for different interpretations.
There is no question. You don't embargo. You just don't
It's not news its an opinion piece. You know what those are right?
And that's kind of the point of the whole piece. This embargo thing shouldn't be news at all. So in that way, you are right. It is useless news.
Whats even better, or worse, is he just outright plagiarised the earlier submission. Tons of sentences are copied whole sale. Even his title is a piss poor lift
It's bad enough he plagiarised but he didn't even try to hide it. Here's a link to the first submission:

I get what you saying, but the question is, trolling or not, is OK for a person in Jaffe's position to react publicly in the way he has?
You know, that's actually a pretty interesting point of view. People that aren't interested would probably just leave well enough alone, but its the trolls that go out of there way to criticize stuff they don't care about. And those kinds of people should, er, do as David said.
Bad business call how? It was the most intelligent business call they could have possibly made. If Target and Kmart had decided to keep selling GTA V what do they gain from it? Nothing but bad PR, because they would be seen as "supporting sexual violence against woman". By doing the opposite they show themselves to be supportive of a positive cause and showing sensitivity to a group with first hand knowledge of sexual violence. That great PR anyway you cut it. And the losses to them...
Why? Because they placed the opinions of their consumers above yours?
Target and Kmart did the only thing that made sense for their business. From their perspective it would have been too big of hassle to keep selling it. I promise you, if they were making money hand over fist on those games, they would have kept selling them.
Your entire argument is flawed. The superiority that PC gamers display in FPS and RTS has less to do with skill and more to do with superior tools - though skill is obviously a factor. KB&M is outright the better tool for those genres.
In fighting games, the superior tool is the Joystick. If you've ever watched an EVO match you'll see the joystick is the preferred input device.
In this particular match-up, whether players use a PC or a PS4 is actu...
I was initially very impressed with this game, but I'm over it. It's not terrible or anything, but the sheen is gone andI doubt any patches and updates will fix that. I'll get the sequel once it's been out for 6 months or so. I buy nothing on day one anymore.
And I think that is a perfectly valid strategy. I think its great if each console has a larger library of exclusives. It does more to differentiate them from each other and strengthens competition and, hopefully, quality as well.
@Lev1903 No, I'm quite OK with MS doing it as well. And I've said as much in a previous opinion piece when the Rise of Tomb Raider story broke. Here's a link to that:

I get what you saying, its on PC as well, but you're being overly technical.
The point here is that the game will be available on one console over another and how that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Not interested. Don't want spin-offs, want Half-life 3.
Dear gawd. Advance Warfare just came out. Slow down guys
Not short term, but its possible in the long run. If you Sony can ensure they get better PR spin from their own event AND not compete against their rivals, Im sure they would rather do that.
What annoys me most about this kind of thing is that it serves no purpose. It doesn't achieve anything.
This is why single player games are so important. For idiots pull crap like this.
What about some of the concept art from DA:I? Surely that should get a place in the top?
