This is one for the PS record books right now, man has my PS3 been getting alot of play with so many recent additions: MGS4, MGS encyclopedia, Metal Gear Online, Grand Theft Auto 4, sweet demos like Civilization Revolution, and now im going to hit up all my old games and get my trophy on???!!!

Im really looking forward to this one. People might compare the quality to eternal sonata and state the game is going to be an 8/10 kind of rpg, but i have faith in Level 5, they have a pretty decent track record

This update is going to be a big help when it comes to getting my friends rallied together to play either Call of Duty 4 or MGO, because right now communication is just very difficult via sending a message or making a phone call if their not already playing the game.
This will make PSN life a whole lot easier and change the face of the online gaming community for PS3 owners.
Looks like Sony is putting their best foot forward for this update.
-1.3 million gamers on MGS4's release didnt think so, even though many had somewhat of an idea how long the cutscenes were
-Over 70 game sites/magazines don't think so
-And the next million gamers who show up on day one to buy the next metal gear won't think so either

Perhaps it could be MGS1? Man im glad they revisited mgs1 so much in mgs4. Brought back a lot of good memories, especially the audio sequences.
Speechless as well, I was having a few doubts for a while since the last in game footage I saw was good, but not great. But this video just smashed my face in. Hopefully we'll see some more before the end of P-Day.
Ahh brings a tear to my eye. I remember back in my earlier days of gaming when I would wait months for my E3 issue of PSM to arrive in the mail. That was a time when there were just a rediculous amount of games to look forward to. Metal Gear, Xenogears, Gex, Brave Fencer Musashi, TOMBA!, Resident Evil, etc. Definitely the golden years of the expo and the playstation. But, it is good to see some other shows popping up on the radar so there are more shows per year to look forward to.
Yea I think I agree with you on that one, check out the sports jacket with the collared shirt under it. At the clothing store you can buy a blue jacket just like that. Just shave that guy's head and there you go, Niko.
Extremely Innovative game, I can tell that this game is just going to be deep and have a identity all its own.
Ive been fooling around with "Phun" alot lately. If you havn't tried it, I highly suggest it. Just type Phun physics into google and its the second link. Really great to play around with. Also, try the internet game Magic Pen.

Yea, you savin for that F430 to race it in A class? I tell ya, kinda pissed me off when they tell you to save up +300k for the last race of A class. And at 20k per race it can kinda take a while. Love the game though. Addicted to my Amuse S2000.
The PS3 does not need help from GTA, it is not faultering in any way. We have seen the PS3 hold it's own for the first quarter of this year with the help of Blu Ray and a decent lineup. GTA will drive some PS2 owners out of the woodwork to get a PS3, but GTA isnt the only card that Sony has up it's sleave this year. No doubt that Sony is going to be willing to spend some major advertising cash later this year for the PS3's real meat and potatoes:June 12, September, November.

Yea I agree, when I was a kid this is exactly how I was exposed to mature content, through parents who didnt know what the hell they were buying and didnt want to upset their kid. In my case it did no harm, but in general parents need to wise up and actually know what their kids are getting before they buy it.

One thing that I would love to know is how much exactly microsoft paid for exclusive rights and how long (given that this rumor is true) the timed exclusivity there was for Bioshock to remain on the xbox360 platform. I assume that 2K would love to make a few more bucks by bringing bioshock to the ps3. As I am sure they know there are many gamers wishing to take a wack at rapture.
My 40gb is a fine example of what taking a little more time to design and test your final product will get you. The PS3 is a much more refined machine than other platforms and has been exposed to much more rigorous testing conditions than it's white and green opponent. I have no doubt that even come hours of GTAIV play my PS3 will continue to run smoothly and without failure.
What kind of downloadable content was there for Bioshock anyways, im not too informed on that.
