Ive been wondering the same thing. Why should Nintendo be the first to make a new console when they sell the most. Its madness, even w/o many killer apps so to speak Q1 Nity still got 2nd In N.America.
Each year they dominate in sales so what makes anyone think they should release a new console? If any one it should be ps3 from a bussiness stand point IMO.

DS:E failed because nobody wanted annother rail shooter. wii has plenty. you give us spin off and half baked concept and expect top class sales.
MBA jam. 1st wii exclusive, then multiplat, then muliplat gets online, final nail in coffin its free w/annother.

Sega seems to be getting sonic on the right track w/Sonic colours and all star racing. Maybe more wii stuff like colours I guess.
