Well I can't deny that it is fun...just waiting for that extra content since they cut the campaign. And don't you dare say BR took its place. I expect more.
No excuse for anything past 50-60 hr work weeks...it’s absolutely destructive to the worker. I really hope things change for the better...cause this is just bad
Edit: and before someone dares to say I didn’t read the article, I did. Even if they don’t expect it doesn’t excuse the fact that these sorts of things happen not only at Rockstar, but many other companies. It’s a philosophy that doesn’t work for the workers health. Period.
WW2 has a campaign and its had bare bones content at launch...so I agree. Dropping the campaign is great. However, where is the replacement content? Black ops 3 had more content at launch than this one...campaign, multiplayer, zombies, and that other co op campaign thing with the zombies.
Dropping the campaign in favor of more content is one thing, but BOps4 only added BR which is gonna be a micro transaction fest for Activision.
Yeah, but its been said that the employees spent almost 100 hours a week to finish this game...that type of game development culture needs to stop. Good job to Rockstar, but forcing your staff to work that much is unhealthy and does not seem right. Then again, maybe these guys enjoy what they do so much that they put 100 hours into this like I am going to put into it playing.

In honesty though, it is fun. I have been playing it all evening long and it's one of the best COD games to date. I love how everyone shat on Infinite Warfare for its futuristic setting. It had a campaign. It had probably one of the best campaigns I played in a long time for COD, but because it was futuristic no one wanted it and everyone hated it.

I have played on PC for nearly 15 years and not once have I ever thought "Hey! I'm gonna minimize this game and go play another game!" One, that sucks up a large portion of your RAM and CPU usage. Two, why tf would you even want to slow down your other game you are playing just to "have multiple games playing" at once? This has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
Search and Mobile? Doesn't give them a pass to the dozen projects they just left...

You know what? I’m notorious for trashing MS and the Xbox, but I’m getting tired of it. I, for one, am happy to see MS acquire potential first party studios.
While this does take away from third party multiplats it is definitely a boost for the Xbox brand. Now they just need to start pumping out exclusives and such. Baby steps I guess. Healthy competition is what drives any business forward.
