Article was way too pessimistic.
Writer lives and breaths in the bizzaro world.
Uncharted 2 truly defined the PS3.
The Last of Us made it epic.
And graphics from Beyond Two Souls showed how to properly push the best out of the PS3.
Very impressed with lighting/reflections on Project CARS.
Getting this day one on console once they announce a release date.
Really very minor and unimportant thing I noticed was the background trees seem to be tall and fluffy on the game as compared to real life.
Kinect accepting voice commands/facial recognition is only cool for about a couple of minutes and it all dies down from there on.
Games are what's it all about and there hasn't been a game that really pushes the boundaries of Kinect.
I'm definitely all for a price drop. Can only mean it's good for us.
People and talents come and go, that's life.
Doesn't necessarily mean the failure of an entire company.
What's important is "fresh and progressive" ideas.
Microsoft at present only supports AR.
No chance of Halo in VR.
Quite honestly first impression does hurt a lot.
And all those negative things, flip-flopping and such that happened on launch day and for a number of days/weeks do still linger until now.
And the bad thing is gamers' tend to bring it up as a defense.
Part good business part stop-gap/fillers.
One of those games that I think would be worth saving up for VR-"Morpheus" on PS4.
Just talking console version only of Project CARS, I seriously think PS4 and XBox ONE has the edge over WiiU.
Especially on the PS4 where gamers have the option like those with PC to try out VR-tech with this game. ( PC = Oculus Rift -- PS4 = "Morpheus" )
That's just a cent more than PS4 Gold Wireless..
..think the way things are going for the WiiU that price actually sounds right.
Seriously hope they don't belittle and muck it up.
Saw a mock-up Seinfeld CGI set and it simply looked so fake and cold. It was uninviting as a laboratory. ( http://thecreatorsproject.v... )
My Neighbour Totoro is an all time epic film.
I'm looking at this more as a stop gap fix or filler if you will since there aren't really a lot of new titles to choose from at the moment.
All the really cool new games we're all anticipating for won't be out till the last quarter of this year.
2015 will be the time when the (un)friendly competition between the 2 major consoles is going to start.
Between 6-to-8 months of waiting for all consoles I'm guessing..
Immensely impressed by the audio quality.
And the CGI Audi R8 violently shaking, squealing across the track would definitely bring a proper sense of focus to any gamer.
I'd even be willing to invest on PS4's VR "Morpheus" just for this game. ( http://www.wmdp...
Reason why I'm still holding out for one.
Still waiting for the really bad-ass games to come out.
Besides the script/story telling having a lot inconsistencies, the graphics does already looked supreme and simply cinematic on the PS3.
I just sort of think the difference would be minimal if they remastered it for the PS4.
What they should remaster for the PS4 is Splinter Cell: Blacklist, I'd definitely buy and play it again.
For the really really casual gamer who has the extra cash to splurge on a niche market.
There is going to be a stampede of pre-orders when SlightlyMad finally confirms the actual release date on all consoles.
This game is going to set the bar very high indeed which can only mean that others have to take heed and improve.
First off because *all gamers', each and everyone across the entire globe have a very short attention span thus they think less and act out their rabid/fanatical attitudes through their comments more.
Also gamers' tend to think and voice out every single detail that is right or wrong about a *reboot game. ( especially technical, monetary details and others ) unlike film, music buffs.
Staggering level of detail in graphics using 1080p 60fps video footage and absolutely mind blowing audio.
I'm actually more amazed by the dynamic power the audio gives out and surrounds the gamer with all that engine noise and every single squeak/rattle/squeal the bodywork/chassis/tire brakes makes plus add the noise of wheel-to-tarmac/wet tarmac.
Did notice the animation of the rain drops at Nurburgring ( night footage ) all too identical and robotic eve...
