They have been talking about porting the game to consoles as well, but their main thing about is that they'd like ALL SC players to play on equal terms, and on the same network. That's one of the reason why console ports for game.
On the console note, Blizzard is of the firm opinion that the biggest marketing is on PC, and instead of KILLER DRM, they enhance the online experience to the point where playing offline doesn't feel like an option. Ergo: people buy the games, and not u...
For all I know, you could indeed have done college studies on it =P
God knows it's advanced enough to require hours of reading just to grasp the basics ;)
Good to have friends who can make articles about it, so I don't have to! =D
Well, I thought I had a pretty good grasp about the mechanics behind the physics. This "Kalos" dude apparently knows quite a bit (yeah, I know him ^^). Most impressed! ;)
Dual-wield 2-handers perhaps ^^
Noo, I'd sell this prototype AND a couple of fingers to be in the SC2 Alpha!
Man, I could definitely see myself with one of those next to me on my desk!
Yeah, that amount for a "mere" fourth place is insane. And with €200,000 in prizes, the 5th and down probably gets something as well!
Talk about getting paid just to show up!
Lol, I wouldn't go that far =P
People are paying hundreds of dollars for it though, on eBay.
I'd imagine it might actually generate quite a bit of press. Must be the highest prices ever given for TCGs!
That probably won't be mandatory. The WoW keyring was sold out within a day on the Blizzard Store page. I think a lot of people will use it.
Yeah, at this point, most of Battle.net 2.0 is still speculation, except for the little things they might have said by mistake.
Thinking that they are aiming to have the best gaming network in the world when it launches is probably not unlikely though. (whether they succeed is another question, but chances are that they will)
Nooooo! Hydra down must mean that the Roach is now either gone or moved up! I have loved the Roach Rush since March 2008! =(
*soooob*
I'm just getting SO sick of all talk of "negative influences". If we all had somewhat decent parents, there wouldn't have been any problems in the first place.
Video games is just (one) of the latest things parents use to blame their failures on. It has been comics, tv and movies in the past (and still is to some extent). Go take some damn responsibility!
Thanks for removing the report btw! =)
As a comment to people reporting the thread:
DON'T USE "OTHER" AS REPORT TYPE!
- Please? =)
The thing with "Other" that most people miss is that it's never possible for the contrib to fix the problem. "Other" should only me used when a stupid contrib is "fixing" problems while not making any changes... If it indeed was SPAM (the ham, which is named that, and referred in the picture) that was the problem, then "Bad Ed...
Yeah, I wouldn't want to have the job to delete hundreds of thousands of comments, in what I suspect is a manual labour =P
Man, I can't believe how this can happen to Blizzard in this day and age! =P
Aren't they supposed to be the PINNACLE of technology and quality?
Haha! That's just awesome! Takes gaming to a whole new level. I want one.
Agree wholeheartedly. To a great extent, it seems kind of odd how the whole "Blizzard North" thing went down, and at the same time, I DO actually have faith in Blizzard, and what really matters is the feeling of Diablo 3, not the backstory of the development!
They weren't that happy about the N64 port....
