I can't believe how pathetic uncharted 2 makes PS3 fans sound. I love the game and played it to death when it came out, but it's cartoon art style makes it hard to compare to more realistic looking games like Crysis or Killzone 2. I still think Killzone 2 looks better than Uncharted 2 simply b/c Uncharted 2's artstyle is so unrealistic (looks great, just not realistic).

Uncharted 2, Little big planet, and demon's souls. That is why I own a PS3. MAG is a very bland and underwhelming shooter IMO. I rented it and after a couple days of playing finally gave up all hope of getting addicted to it like some claim.
It just feels very tame and the guns all feel very weak. It's not a bad game really, it's just that there are a lot of shooters already on the market that are vastly superior, especially in terms of fun factor IMO.
All this "it's cool to hate MW2" crap makes me laugh so hard. Online gaming community is becoming a real joke.
Sure MW2 has a LOT to alienate people due to it's problems. I was one of the many letdown by the game.
but to act like BFBC2 (a game that has a HUGE amount of flaws as well) is somehow objectively better than MW2 is so childish.
bad company 2's biggest problem is just that the core gameplay of shooting a gun in that game doesn't...
to me all hack 'n slash games are only worth a rental. I think the only game i ever bought and was glad was Ninja Gaiden black. All other HnS games, like devil may cry, bayonetta, darksiders, even god of war were only really fun once through the game.
These games have very little replay value to me and are seldom worth the money due to how short they usually are. Why anyone would want to buy, instead of rent, games like god of war is beyond me. They just are not nearly as fun ...
I couldn't agree more about rainbow six vegas being the best online shooter so far this generation!
I really was hoping for a new RB6 game this year, but I do enjoy the GR games so this should be fun as well, but it sure does have a TON of shooters to go up against. Not sure if fall is a good idea going against something as huge as Halo Reach.
Glad to see so much love on here for bots in MP games. I know they said reach will have split screen, now if only it has bots then it will be great.
Killzone 2 and Gears 2 both did bots really well. I enjoyed some bot games almost more than vs. humans simply b/c the AI was smart enough to actually use teamwork and not spam rockets...
I'm guessing developing really good AI bots for MP is just too time consuming and that's why we don't see it more often?
