relax a little, he didn't say it is bad, but he simply stated that the visual fidelity isn't all that significant...which it isn't. Better, yes..by leaps and bound, no. What nail? X1 has outsold the PS4 for the second month in a row. Not saying MS will catch up in overall sales for this half gen anytime soon, but the X1s is still going to sell very well, especially this Christmas because of the 4k blue ray player and the price-point the console is offered at. Well, lets face facts. Large studios will put their headline, AAA games on the most powerful hardware first or usually with exclusive content and/or early DLC. COD did this on the 360, then on the PS4 and will most likely do the same on the Scorpio when released. Whichever console the most popular third party games favor is usually the one that sells the most.

Well, only two or three of the exclusives for PS4 are any good the rest are mostly indi junk.
The specs are good, but to be truthful I was hoping they would have increased it to over 5tf's...just to start a power creep where the Scorpio would answer with a bit more. Oh well, still a very good console and since I haven't gotten a Ps4 there is no reason in the world not to get the Pro when it comes out.
developers have always been "power hungry". Ever since the Atari 2600 days they would add chips in the cartridges to help with graphics and sound. It's always been that way, one way or another.

Neither company has made the specs of the new consoles official. For all we know the specs on both could change before they are brought out.
Yes they should have, but they were already locked in with all the R&D costs of the Pro that I doubt they gave retooling much consideration. Outside of Playstation Sony still isn't doing great. No way they would OK an all new build after the pro was pretty much ready to go.
