I'm sure it is selling well, but literally every store I have been to the day after Black Friday not only have Plenty of PS4's but plenty of Pro's. Switch's Xbox S and X. I'm not seeing a shortage of anything in my area (Los
Angeles).

Congrats to all the smart gamers that went to the X! Best versions of the vast majority of games for years to come!

Who, cares all I have to do is see a side by side comparison to to anything on a Sony console with the X to see what a true slaughter is.

Glad to see Nintendo doing well, but they are always a bit stingy with putting items on sale.

Any third party company that doesn't make games for the Switch at this point are pretty much throwing money away. So many Switch consoles have sold it just doesn't make sense for the majority of studios to ignore it. Good things ahead for the most powerful handheld the world has ever seen!

More "tech enthusiasts" out there than you think..MS literally lost millions of its user base to Sony simply because the standard PS4 was more powerful than the standard X1. To those who mostly play cross plats the X is looking very tempting and regardless what some say the Xbox brand has some stellar exclusives...The backward compatibility is a nice feature as well. The X won't sell 30 million units for MS. Its not supposed to, but it will do very well heading down the line.

Aceman18...Of course MS could take a worldwide console lead at some point. So could Nintendo when it comes down to it. It really depends on MS, how much they want to invest in markets they don't cater to now and how much time they want to put in it. No guarantee but it certainly "could" happen. ...Again, the PS3 barely took the console sales lead and it did that during the the last full year of that gen, so I have no idea where your comment is coming from. Also MS did wipe the f...

Never played the 3DO version...Need to see if there are any emulators out there.

They certainly could...if there is a clause that allows them to do so or if EA would agree.

I remember buying the first Phantasy Star for the SMS for $80 new. That was back in the late 80's.

Would be nice but doubtful. Disney likes money as much as EA. With Christmas coming this game is still going to sell a ton...Also it depends on what kind of agreement/contract they have.

Road Rash was one of the best games on the Genesis...So much freakin fun!

Yeah but there is more than just Activation and EA out there. There are quite a few small developers that need larger teams to produce games that can compete... Most games do not sell at the volume of COD. Regardless, studios are going to want to see as large as possible profit on their returns, especially publicly owned companies. If they need/want more profit they will see if they can get away with micro transactions...so far no mater how much people complain they are making money on those...

Game prices have been $59 (up to) for decades now. Some Sega Genesis games were released at $70....Time to increase the game prices to $69 to offset the high production costs developers have to face.

I hope you don't live on wishful thinking.....meh, you probably do...Oh well.

Unless they are new to gaming no one on either side expects MS to do well in Japan...or cares for that matter.

I remember when people said that Sega would "never" have a shot at taking on Nintendo or that Sony would "never" make it in the gaming industry or that Nintendo would "never" recover after the WiiU...See a trend here Aceman? Fact is, MS could certainly win a console gen...They arguably did with the 360...Sony during the final year of that gen did manage to outsell the 360 with the Ps3 but MS still crushed them with overall software sales and profit. My advice...N...
