Actually, I love Mario Kart too, but karting is pretty crazy and alot of fun in Gran Turismo 5/6 I must say. It's a shame not many people race karts online in GT5. Early on there would be a few karting rooms up a night, now there's usually only 1. Maybe it's a little too on the edge and stressfull racing for most. It's pretty hardcore. I don't know if you've tried it, or even knew GT has karting now, but I highly suggest it for karting fans........just don't go cur...

Lubu, as a piece of advice you may want to consider getting Plus right from PSN instead. I know 30 for a year of Plus is a REALLY good deal for sure. And I wouldn't critique you for going to GS for that deal. But you may want to instead just buy PSN card(s) because Sony is probably also going to put one year Plus subs on sale, though probably for 40, but doing it through your PSN wallet Sony will give you credit for spending on PSN. The dedicated Plus cards don't count as spending on ...

So, what you're saying is that you don't want to take responsibility as a parent to deny your child something? You REFUSE to say NO to your kid, even though you know there is potential there for them to come across adult material.....and you demand that Sony be the responsible parent to your child and come off as "the bad guy" by removing an everyday feature that just about any device supports or has a version of?

I have a better idea. YOU tell your kids wha...

How half-assed of a developer are these guys when they can't get the friggin' ancient Quake 3 engine running perfectly smooth at 1080p on any kind of modern hardware including XBone? Rediculous.

On the topic of framerates, I personally don't care if a game is 60fps. In fact, since Killzone has been my FPS of choice since the first one due to it's heavy feel (which is odd since my other FPS of choice is Unreal Tournament which is the total opposite), I have t...

Since it was introduced on PSP, though I think it was actually on the PSX first (PS2/DVR combo thing that never came out of Japan, I don't mean PS1), I've thought the XMB is the best UI I've ever experienced. And I still don't think it's been surpassed by anything yet. It's intuitive, logical and user friendly. Anyone could pick it up and know how to use it within seconds without coaching for the most part.

While I love my Vita in that it's everyth...

Speaking of backgrounds, in the settings I didn't see anything for setting images as backgrounds (in fact, I don't even see a photo folder, though I know it can take screenshots, so that doesn't make sense) or any kind of "themes" setting.

I'm really going to miss custom themes. Some of the themes I have that people made are lightyears better than any of the ones you can buy. I don't think any of the ones you can buy even use custom sounds.

IMO the "Top 10" for me, or at least the Top 5......they're all pretty much tied for #1. I wouldn't choose between them. A top 10 or whatever list is impossible. Top lists in gaming need to be split up into genres to be anything other than a long list of highly rated games.

So that said, all my #1's are.........

#1 MGS4
#1 Heavy Rain
#1 Dragon Age: Origins
#1 Uncharted 2
#1 Skyrim
#1 God of War 3 ...

The Xbox brand makes money right now. There's no denying that for sure. Just on Xbox Live accounts alone they're making profit within the division I'm sure, nevermind software and hardware and licencing. But with all the negative press they've been getting lately after just months prior being the absolute darling of the gaming media that paid just enough to do no wrong, I could imaging big wigs getting nervous. But I'm not going to argue any of that. BUT............I do wa...

What is so amazing about Scott Stiener being in the game?

I'm not saying it's not cool for people who like the new wrestling games. I wish I still liked wrestling games with the rosters they have. And if I did, I'd be so hyped that the NWO and specifically Scotty Stiener were being added. In fact by chance, I've actually been watching Scott Stiener videos on youtube over the last week or so. He's one of my all time favorite wrasslers both as Big Poppa Pum...

I disagree. Aside from Marvel vs DC, MK vs SF is the dream fighter, especially for oldschool fans. But it's such a legendary match-up between the 2 most storied fighters, both games have rich backstories, but both play SOOO differently that I don't think either developer would do real justice to the other's franchise. (though to be honest I think NetherRealm would do better by SF than Capcom would for MK)

I think it would have to be a colaborative effort between b...

Yeah, for sure. You're totally right and 98% of the other fighting game fans and veterans are wrong. A joy style dpad that is completely inaccurate where half the time you tap down an it registers left, or when you hit right jit registers up and you jump completely ruining tha Psycho Crusher you were about to unleash but instead got Dragon Punched out of the jump you never intended on making in the first place, is WAY better than the most input accurate dpad arguably (though not in my v...

deadpoolio, you sound like all the PC elitists that for over a year were forever repeating the same thing about Diablo3 coming to console. Blizzard was adamant that it wasn't going to happen, so the PC loyalists swore up and down it wasn't going to happen, even though there was already hard evidence to suggest Blizzard was infact already working on it.

I'm just about 100% confident GTA5 will be on next gen consoles, at least PS34within a year. What kind of develop...

Maybe it's because I'm a bit older, grew up with Atari and ColecoVision and have been a dedicated console gamer basically through every generation of consoles, while gameplay has always been #1, I grew up gaming always wanting better graphics. A perfect example is the main console gaming buzz-term of the early-mid 90's: "Arcade Perfect" graphics, good gameplay seemed like the easy part............Or perhaps I'm just a closet graphics whore and don't know it (thou...

Larzen,
You can't expect to have your comments taken seriously when out of one side of your proverbial mouth you're convieniently claiming to be pro-truth and anti-fanboyism (I doubt it's coiincidence that your distaste is always directed towards PS3 fanboys as though a 360 fanboy couldn't even possibly exist here in these comment sections).........while out of the other side of your mouth you are clearly LYING, being a fanboy, and/or are blind or some combination of t...

I've been sick of the blatant fanboyism in the gaming (pseudo-)"journalism& quot ; industry since like 2007, but at this point, it's starting to get real silly.....but no less infuriating.

I mean why are these guys still out-right lying and telling us to not believe our eyes and our own experiences? Are people so easily brainwashed by anyone who calls themselves an "authority"?..... apparently, they are, because people have, and will continue to go ...

This is not surprising news really, regarding PS3s version of Dragon Age looking better than 360s. Alot of peope have bad memories, but I don't. Dragon Age Origins looked WAY better on PS3. It had a slower framerate due to PS3 having so little RAM and that being BioWare's first outing on PS3, but visually they really took advantage of PS3's hardware where they could.

The PS3 version had it's Blu-Ray packed with al the high resolution textures of the PC version...

Dragon Age 2 doesn't make your point though because Dragon Age 2 didn't have very good graphics, while Origins was a WAY better RPG and just a better game in general in almost every way except one, and Origin also looked way better to boot.

DA2 could have been almost as good as Origins if it didn't loose so much of what made Origins great like making your own character, and not even being able to put all the armor you've been collecting on your party members.....

Looks great. If anyone from that site's comment section reads this, that is not a Wyvern. Wyverns have 2 legs, not 4. That is either some kind of dragon (looks kinda like a Krayt Dagon imo, an homage to KOTOR perhaps) or a drake.

What I can't tell is the scale. Is it huge and that's an adventurer's armor hanging out of it's mouth, or is it drake sized and those are reins attatched to it's mouth?, meaning it's a mount, I'd guess for the enemy, n...

Like you all said, it's just another case of the media trying to get some anti-Sony bandwagon going with this game either being Sony "selling out", or it's somehow a "slap in the face" to Vita owners......omg.....what a joke. How do these people keep their jobs as "journalists" (really pseudo-journalists)?

For the love of the Gaming Gods someone PLEASE explain to me in a logical way how Sony putting out a game for phones that is a collect...
