Yeah, mark it down.
You and your ignorance won't have to wait too long though.
FPS module comes out soon, and social module after that. Game is finally falling into place, bit by bit.
Oh, and just so you know, if you actually knew what you were talking about, you wouldn't be saying 'scam'. That's ridiculous. The only people saying this are the people who don't follow SCs development.
" While selling $300 ships to make a little extra money"
Selling $300 ships is the reason the game is fully funded. It's not 'for extra money'
" If Roberts was a man of his word, he would have completed the game with the initial 4,000,000 kickstarter goal instead of stretching this endlessly"
You realize that it wouldn't have been just 4,000,000. With that much, they still needed the majority of funding fr...
My Asus laptop can barely run Dota 2 on the lowest settings.
There is chance I might need to upgrade for the witcher 3.
:_(
Apparently the draw distance is always the same, regardless of which setting ? The previewers of late seemed to be happy with the draw distance.
Brilliant
PC gamers really shouldn't worry about downgrade, it's going to look brilliant, and not only that, it's going to run well ! 60fps on ultra on a 980GTX ? Sounds like they hit a sweetspot. Even if you're worried about futureproofing graphics, we've got modders for that.
PC or console, it's going to be epic. They've made so many quality improvments that affect ALL versions.
They still have 2 months to polish it ! a...
Doesn't have to be complaining.
The fact is if it takes that long, then it is going to cause a lot of frustration.
Having to wait close to a minute to respawn in a game where death is so common. If this game is anything like the Souls games in terms of difficulty, then a lot of people are going to get annoyed and rage, or simply switch it off (during the difficult parts)
However, I'm quite sure that this isn't actually the game&...
xD
I love how this comment written
PS exclusives have always looked fantastic. I mean, just look at Uncharted 2.
It's a mixture of tech power and just brilliant artistic ability. They know what to do and where to do it, and how to utilize the machines power.
Also, we often underestimate how important polish is when it comes to graphics. Makes such a difference.
Well, The Homeworld and Homeworld 2 remaster was particulartly good. They overhauled so much of it. The visuals got a complete overhaul
That often seems like more of an excuse to defend certain games and bash others.
Some people like certain games, others don't.
Depending on the game, the majority might like it, or not. It's called opinion. People need to get over it.
Sure some people like to get clicks, but the recent attitude of "reviewers are stupid/ I don't care what reviewers say because they are on MS/Sony paycheck" drivel is just retarded.
If you look at the memory requirement of all 3 nodes, you quickly realize that speed is not an issue.
Rather it is the direction and layering. By simulating all 3 layers of the tire as speparate components and modelling in heat, aqua planing, torsion and deformation into each one progressively, we can obtain accurate calculations.
By accounting for tremor retardation and quibble factors, we can effectively set up the compiler to re-route all fuel to the re...
Well, some would say it's bad game design.
Forcing players to walk because you know 'mood'? AI that miss 9/10 times regardless of how close enemies are?
Shooting which has very little complexity other than move and shoot, yet has 2 to 3 identical waves of enemies spawning behind walls ?
The Order does some things in new, bold ways (eg The First Elder Boss fight was so epic)
but why is it still stuck with old mechanics tha...
@Allsystemgamer
It's not about cinematic games and non cinematic games. The people saying open world and longer game and 'NO QTE' have it wrong too.
It's about design choices that pull you into the game and design choices that do the opposite.
What is cinematic ? Half Life 2 was cinematic for it's time. Mass Effect 2 and 3 was cinematic, and they were even more awesome because of it. The Last Of Us was also cinematic.
If cinematic m...
Are you sure though ? I mean, it could prove really tricky given the fact that every asset has it's own draw distance.
You never know... without mod tools, some things are hard to change.
This has been known for a long time...
It makes sense that way too. Put mod tools out too soon, and people start modding and using mods before they've played through the actual games. That's not something I'd want if I were a dev.
Besides, people can still create mods anyway, just not extensive ones
Give it about a month or two, then release the mod tools. Then people will make really significant mods and the modding community and pla...
Sure they did something right. However, is that what it's about ? How many players are playing ? Replay value ?
If that's the case, then it can only ever be COD, BF and games like Destiny.
Wolfenstein was a such a success. It delivered exactly what it promised, and in every single respect.
Destiny ? It promised how much, and delivered on how much of that ? How basic and repetitive was it ? How flat was it's lore and story ? A game like Bo...
Awarding the player sex cards after he sleeps with women ? Like collectibles ?
You're really saying that women who play it aren't going to have an issue with that ? Ofcourse that can be considered sexist, or even juvenile, or whatnot.
Needless to say, the second game didn't have any of that
I will say, however, that some people are simply too up tight about all this. There was one preview of TW3 in which the previewer listed out...
It's Remedy.
Every single game they've made from Max Payne 1 has been special, and a ton of fun to play. They know what they're doing. In my eyes, it's almost guaranteed that this will be a good game.
Really hope it comes to PC later, so PC gamers can also enjoy it
This demo wasn't just impressive to look at.
It was just such a beatiful video overall. Everything came together wonderfully, and at the end it succeeded in evoking the emotions it wanted to.
The animation, direction, music, story, assets, were all great
Just opinion. The driving is undeniably intense, but some people don't really like simcade racing.
They prefer full on motorsport, or full arcade, and it has to do with a lot more than just the driving itself.
What Evo have now is also a promising platform. Think of what their next game will be like. They've nailed down all the tech and all that, they can focus on even more content and depth and variety. For those who love Driveclub, it's look...
