all but one of those studios are sony in house and MGS4 may as well be considered sony first party due to the amount of cash sony will send konamai's way to keep it exclusive
capcom is a third party without access to sony in house resources that the other studios have.

but the previous games on ps2 at least didnt really have much of a sensation of speed compared to other racers. brilliant graphics and lots of customisation but travelling at 300km felt like 150km unless your in the polphony 001

there is only 1 game type. perhaps you mean the map, then i would agree oilfield and solar farm are too big for sub 16 player matches and street is too small for 32+

The console industry is healthier than ever because it has 3 competitors trying to to 1 up each other, and this is good for us non shareholding consumers!
just imagine what the ps3 or 360s launch price would have been if they where the only console maker. $1000 US+
this will keep dvd alive for a few more years if the BD association dont change their tactics.
