It just kind of went under my radar, I never heard of it until it was a long time out. I will be giving this one a run though, make up for lost time 'n' all. :D

Ridge Racer is my favourite arcade franchise by a long shot, I love the retro way it still handled and how it was easy to play hard to master. As long as they keep those aspects I don't mind what the polish looks like.
I must admit I never really played it when they were about. I played Vigilante 8 which is similar but I wouldn't say that was a huge game either.
I'm personally more prepared to give it a go this time round though, it's a lacking genre and will make a change from the usual tried and tested games of late.

I'll be buying the Xbox version over PS3 (as I already own a fightstick for the xbox) - and I am really not too worried about lacking an exclusive character. I'm buying the game to play Mortal Kombat characters - exclusive characters are what cheapened Soul Caliber and I don't fancy it happening to this franchise.
In my opinion it is copying Operation Wolf from my ZX spectrum... I am disgusted!

I've been into Coin-ops for a while now, and this film has raised the prices of my hobbie :( Sad times! I'm currently running a Sega Model 3, so not particularly retro, but still fun :)
