I can't, I ain't got that kinda money.
I like going for trophies and achievements also. Especially getting some of the harder ones. I only have one platinum so far, but am more happy about some of the ballacheingly hard silver trophies on wipeout.
As for achievs I am on about 55k now - finished a lot of games, but they always seem to add more and more with DLC - which has stopped me from being such a pefectionist.
Story is crucial on certain types of games, but not all. Some games are just fun without any storyline... e.g FIFA - Bomberman - Streetfighter
In a case like the up and coming Twisted Metal... I have no idea what the storyline is, and frankly have never cared... I just love the gameplay.

I still play the odd game of Killer Instinct, it's still my favourite beat-em-up and I would happily kill for an arcade cab of it.
If you want me to buy all my games new, sell them cheaper - or have some quality control as to what is actually released on your system. I am not willing to bust out a £40 gamble on whether I like a game or not... At least offer me a money back guarantee if you fail to live up to the over hyping adverts on TV.

The only people who seemed to peaved to what the xbox does or doesn't have, play Playstation instead... As an xboxer first I couldn't care less, I like what I got. Currently smashing orks in Spacemarine after having finished RAGE... got a few other games I want to play lined up after those (including Sonic which looks fun), so the lack of exclusives hasn't been noticed.
Stop sapping the fun out of gaming by over analysing pointless crap and then rating all games ...
I got it on xbox live... you may find yourself a bit dissapointed with it... was a lot more fun 20 years ago :/

Like the sound you make when one of your 3 friends who are over trips on the cord going for a piss whilst playing 4 player! Countless times have I had a console faceplant because of clumsiness and wires :D

I have been gaming since the mid 80's and haven't played any of those titles :/
It took me a while to buy one because it was too expensive. I only wanted it for the games, all the other features are not used on my consoles (xbox included)... I boot up and play games and that is it. So I had the option of a console which had some real interesting games (mass effect, bioshock, a 60fps orange box) which was cheaper - or a console that was more expensive and had a fairly few decent titles and sub-par ports.
Trolls had nothing to do with it.

an 8 is not "just OK" an 8 usually implies a pretty great title... Thinking like yours is why game reviewers can't win and why too many games are rated 9 and 10's when they bring nothing new to the table.
And before you say "5 is just too low" perhaps you should try playing the game?
and Halo 4 , Bioshock Infinite and an ass ton of other games as always ...

It's a lot easier... Just turn on your xbox, press left on the analogue once, then type the first 3 or 4 letters of the game you are looking for... then "bang" all the content for that game is available for you to DL.
