It's an interesting start as both are taking slightly different routes. I have been lucky to get hold of both consoles so I am all set to enjoy myself for a while.
I'm going to play through Prey again. Last time I played I didn't use any alien abilities... this time I am going to inject myself up the the eyeballs.
Nothing beats sitting in a bar in Skyrim VR and drinking beers in real life...
Thanks Covid.
I played it co-op with 4 people. I each one of them picked the game up a week or 2 later than the other... I got it first. I watch Raheem on that train 4 damn times.
RAHEEEEEEEEEEM
We're not in the EU but we are in Europe :)
I get that, personally I get a lot of value from GPass. It gets me playing games outside of my normal tastes. Last gen I have a large PS4 library of hardcopies, but all they really do is sit on a shelf. As the generation went on I found myself going more and more into digital ownership. It wasn't long before I was too lazy to change a disc.
I am yet to play it, I have a PS5 arriving at the end of the month, this is right at the top of things I want to play.
I'd love that to be true.
You will, just hold in there.
It better Craig.
Wow, you're really upset by this, sorry mate... you'll get over it with time.
I managed to bag an XSX on pre-order and as of yesterday I FINALLY BAGGED A PS5! So I am all good to play all the games :D
Rod Ferguson may have left The Coalition after Gears 4... but that wasn't a bad thing. They then went on to make the much better Gears 5.
I hope Ghostwire Tokyo hits gamespass once it is done with its Playstation timed exclusive. It looks like an interesting title.
I am personally the other way. I like the xbox gamerscore setup. I treat it like an ongoing score of my gaming and I find the monthly competitions on who scores the most VS your friends list addicting.
Whilst on my PS4, I don't track what I get as much. I like the platinum trophy idea (of which I only have about 8 or 9)... but outside of that I mostly ignore them.
This is the first game I have pre-ordered for a few years now. Fingers crossed I have no regrets :P
It looks very akin to World War Z rather than L4D. World War Z has ended up a lot of fun, but I felt it was a slow start. Narrative elements were pretty loose... just there to enforce the environment you are in.
I am still chasing for one. UK had some stock drops this week. but no luck for me... just stuck in long online shopping queues. It'll get easier over time :)
Ebay route it pretty good, particularly if you yourself resell. You can buy, play through and sell for what you bought.
Does Skyrim hold up? I played it on the x360 years ago.. loved it even though it ran like a dog. Haven't ever tried it again but with the option of it running a lot better its tempted. I am just concerned that mechanically it will feel a bit dated now?
