Shadows aren't always shadows. They can be either baked or dynamic. In this instance they're dynamic - But not always ~(mirrors edge for example).
You can have that one for free.

A damn good game, especially on live. The ability to watch back your games and record your favourite kills for bragging rights felt pretty unique for a console. It's easy to play, but hard to master.
People can smack talk it all they want - It won't change anything.

I have had 5 360's (3 died from RRoD and 1 from disk drive failing) I replaced it with an Elite which hasn't had a hick up since. Out of my group of gamer friends, all of us have had a 360 die at some point. I know 3 people with PS3's... Only one has had a problem and it was an early SKU.
I prefer the 360 personally - It has been the first console to grip me in years... But they do break more often.
Mine are fine on xbox. Tiring of the game slowly though. I want to get back into Wipeout HD

People whinge about the Unreal Engine, but it is the easiest to get a game up and running allowing you to polish. It is so well set up and has such simple tools to get games working. It is not the best for the gamer by far, but it is nice and easy to use when busting a game out.

Never had a complaint with my Xbox live - But the comparisons in the article are not valid to what I like to do... Boot and play! I think PSN would let me do that too.
