Actually thats not true. I worked in engineering for several years in the home furnace market and basically some manufatures would get wind of a rumored direction a competitor was taking, if the rumors kept coming they would assign someone to begin coming up with their own version of the producted like an air conditioner that doubles as a water heater, I had friends in the tech fields and while not always they side its about the the same.
You can bet when the Switch sells numbers are low, Sony wont be following up on this idea.

@uscboy1996 because its never the best of both world especially when it comes to tech trying to do multiple things. As a handheld 3hrs of game play doesnt seem the best and as a console playing games like Zelda in 720-900p when the competition is doing at least a form of 4k and 1080p at the same price isnt the best either. So the Switch kind of does 2 things so so but not what I would call good, great or well.
As an American gamer of 30+ yrs now, a father and bread winner in the house, I dont care about my gaming hardwares port ability as Im either working, driving or fixing thinga around the house. I care about getting the most value for my dollar and good gaming experiences, compelling story lines and interesting characters. Pow, pow is only so fun and my interest in the novelty of handhelds died at about 12 with the tiger handheld games.

I was worried about that. Too many devs use fetch quests to extend play time and it just ends up making you not do side quests not extending play time.
I see everyone saying Skyward sword only did 4 million on thw Wii and its install base was 100 mill, while thats true 4 million on the Wii was pretty good numbers considering most Nintendo IP's were selling 1 or 2 million with the exception of Wii fit and Wii sports. The Wii isnt a good base for comparison as the large majority of those 100 million sales were casual nongamers who didnt return for Wii U and wont return for Switch. Nope. If they kill 3DS maybe but as long as it has both feet in two areas and 3DS is competing against it, I doubt Wii numbers, which not sure why anyone would want it to do Wii numbers when the majority of people bought it for Wii sports and Wii fit only really, anyway.

That was a major joy I found in Wild Hunt that the side mission werent merely fetch quests and I hope other games learn from the Witch in terms of DLC because wild hunt has the best DLC around this in my OP.
You add side mission with out adding fetch quests and no most of the time they arent story driven. The Witcher 3 has great side quests that arent all fetch missions.
