This is one of the dumbest articles in existence...
They didn't really start working on it full time until Witcher 3 was finished. And didn't they just finish retooling the engine like 6 or 7 months ago? I would love to see it come out this year but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Hated the cover system (if you can call it that). Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the beta as well.

I think it can work very well if they can implement the optional wait system like they did in FFXV. I actually really enjoyed that because it gave you plenty of time to come up with a strategy for every fight.

do you really want them to rush it out just to meet an anniversary date if it's not ready and optimized then yell at them for issues that may have been fixed with more development time to make it right.
they rushed out FFXV, and now they're NOT rushing out FFVIIR just to meet an arbitrary anniversary date?!?!?!
It would have been nice if they could meet it, but i'm alright with it if they are trying to do it right and not rush it out just because it's 20 years since FF7 came out. It's being broken up into multiple releases anyways so it's not like you'd get the full game on the anniversary.
or possibly account merge for those of us that took the plunge with a new account because we outgrew the old one (that we created when we were younger and no longer like the name). I would love to have access to my stuff from my older account that i no longer use.
