I contacted the EB Games at the Eaton Centre, they have $20 and $50 cards. The cards have been spotted in Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver which signals to me a nation-wide launch.
Yeah, God of War 3 looked mighty impressive. The only reason why I wouldn't give it game of the show is because it's still a little too early for the game. Uncharted 2 looked to be 100% polished, and had the perfect combination of graphics, story, action and multiplayer.

Agreed. The BB website says they are paying up to $40 for used games. Surprisingly, a lot of games are listed at $40 TIV. Not bad...
I hope that Square-Enix has Dragon Quest IX and X at the show, those two in particular have me really excited.
Ah okay, that sounds very cool. Lots of potential for an HD version as well. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I haven't actually played Rollcage but it looked similar to in style to Wipeout. It's another weapons-based driver right?

Zone Zeus is absolutely impossible. Who can honestly say they can survive zone mode until speed level 75? It's just ridiculous. I've tried for days and the highest I ever got to was in the mid 40's. Level 75 is supersonic speed a.k.a. completely impossible.
You know what, I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I'm generally pretty trophy-obsessed but I'm at the point now that I just don't think I'll achieve any more. So unbelievably hard!!
When you're a handful of trophies away from getting the platinum it's hard to walk away. Something inside me urges me to continue collecting, even if that means running through the entire game again.

Yeah, I agree with that whole heartedly. We very rarely get *exclusive* content here, especially bundles. In fact this might be the first time I've ever heard of a major exclusive of this magnitude in Canada. This should sell like hot cakes.
I thought the awards were too concentrated, Gears of War 2, Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead swept the awards. There were many other excellent titles completely ignored by the ELAN Awards.
Yeah, you definitely have to use an HDTV with you PS3 to maximize the experience. Paying for the tv yourself just makes it that much sweeter.
Damn, I wish my screen was that big for Killzone 2.

These ads just started appearing on Canadian channels the middle of last week.
I don't see any reasons why you should be getting disagrees for your comments. The most impressive aspect of Killzone 2 has got to be the graphics. Gameplay wise, from what I've played, seem pretty ordinary. I'm not saying the gameplay is bad, in fact I think it's quite good, but it's certainly not revolutionary.
No word yet as to when they will come to the U.K. Hopefully soon, it's been a long, long time.
