So far I only used nukes once to humiliate an opponent. I must say I've been tempted to build like 5 ghost academies since...

The beta has to be REALLY close this time. I can't wait any longer =(
If there is an open stage, it will probably quite some time after the closed one, so they know what the servers can take. Besides, the stress will come sooner or later anyway, when they release it, so it might be worth it for them to make the beta open for just a couple days/weeks.
That would be only fair. If their servers can take it, there's probably little reason not to do it. It's not that any of us would not buy the full version after the experience with beta.
When SC2 eventually comes out, I'm going to miss all this suspense.
But.. not so much.
It's weird to be excited abou the beta again... I thought that was no longer a possibility for me, but guess I was wrong..
As a mapmaker, I hope there will be a lot of unique models for both heroes and mercs... that mercs won't just be larger recolors of regular units =(

Time for a little paranoid theory: since Blizzard doesn't care about piracy so much, forcing players to register online and play through battle.net at all times (excdept SP ofc) might have another reson than battling piracy (which it probably won't hurt at all). It seems like they want to force people to use all the features of the new battle.net.
Perhaps it will evolve into a new steam? Or do they want to raise money on features that won't be free?
I never actually payed any attention to console gaming, but the fact is there's still a lot of excellent games comming out.
What I don't understand is why Starcraft only got sequel now, and before that nothing (except an expansion). It's true that Warcraft was leading by two games when SC came out, but how come there's Diablo 3 and only Starcraft 2? =(
I'm still hoping they will reconsider the LAN thing. I mean, they did bring back Clotworthy...
I surely hope it will be free - I'm guessing it might be similar to all the new maps and stuff that came in patches for Warcraft 3.
Besides, us modders will make majority of downloadable content ourselves =)
Does anybody know if Jason Hayes is doing any music? I love his work on Warcraft 3. And also he once personally congratulated me to getting a honourable mantion for one of my cinematics =)
