This is most likely true. It basically boils down to whether or not MS wants the game on 360. It doesn't matter if Nomura is involved or not. What MS wants, MS gets, and there are countless examples of this. As long as it's not made directly by Sony or Nintendo, any title is fair game. We're far enough into this generation of consoles for everyone to know this is how the process works now. I will buy the PS3 version and enjoy it as I do FFXIII.
No clue why it won't let you reply, but that's very interesting. I would have figured the numbers to be closer to 40% business, 60% consumers. I did read that RIM's US sales are declining, while they are rising internationally. So I guess a good portion of that 80% is from international sales. Maybe it's just an age demographic thing that explains why I see more iPhones and Androids in public. The Blackberry consumer demographic is a bit older and is probably less likely to be on their phone ...
I'm sure many of those sales are bulk company purchases for their employees though. When it comes to phones purchased for personal use, it seems to be iPhone or Android for most people. AT&T has great voice/data coverage in my area and I used to see many iPhones out in public, but over the past couple of months it seems just about everyone has an Android device.

Lol, I knew as soon as I typed "transmission" that someone was gonna make the comparison with a less important car part.
I'm not really waiting for CFW, it's just more of a principle thing for me. It's like me paying off a car and then the dealership comes and takes out my transmission just for the hell of it. I don't really play online much and there are no PS3 games I plan to pick up in the foreseeable future, so why rush to an update that'll just remove a feature?
I'm one of the ones that will be affected and I won't be updating either, especially since I haven't had time to backup what I have on the other partition. All I currently play is FF13, GoW3, and Persona 4 anyway, so there's no rush at all to update. Geohot isn't just some random person though. He knows his stuff and definitely helped make my iPhone a much better device when I had it.

It's definitely not that bad. Being about 15 hours into the game, I've been wondering the whole time if some of the pre-release reviewers played the same game I am. What's happened to Destructoid is sad though and its downfall can directly be blamed upon Jim Sterling. The site was not like that 3 years ago. It went from a bookmarked site that I visited multiple times a day to a site I only hear about here when Sterling is looking for hits.
My gf is similar in that she's pretty much only into RPGs (mainly JRPGs though). Since we got together late last year, I just don't have the drive or the time to really play anything though. I'm definitely getting Heavy Rain soon and FF13 is paid off, but currently, I can't even remember the last game I purchased. Still gotta pick up Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank, Demon's Souls, Tekken, Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2....

That's probably because AT&T sells the iPhone now and only recently announced support for Android. Why would they mention Android to you before AT&T's 5 devices have been revealed?
True, a good majority of JRPG fans probably don't care for sports, but MS knows that a massive chunk of their fanbase was locked on TNT this weekend. If the commercial raises awareness and gets some people who aren't normally RPG fans to pick up the game, then they have succeeded.
It does look great. Me and my sister still play this every once in a while on N64, so this would be a Day 1 buy. Then I remembered my 360 died last month... :(
None of mine are like that and we have a 7-11 on just about every block. You can go inside one and see other 7-11s from the store you're currently in.
My launch day 360.....finally broke on me last night when trying to play Resident Evil 5. I knew it was only a matter of time and the warranty is definitely expired. I don't think I'll be buying another one though. No real point when I have a PS3 and a good PC.

Can anyone whose played their Slim for a few hours comment on the heat output? I know it's using smaller chips which output less heat, but it's also in a more confined space. My room isn't exactly small, but the 60GB PS3 and the 360 turn my room into a sauna after a few hours of gameplay/Blu-ray viewing. I'm likely going to pick up a Slim this weekend and I'm hoping it solves this minor issue.
Same here. My BC definitely gets used. Mainly by Atlus games which continue to crap all over current gen RPG releases IMO.

Not sure why you got the disagrees, but you're pretty much on point. There's nothing the new iPhone can do that the Evo couldn't do three days ago on a less expensive and currently more advanced network. Apple has to pull off something big next year because Android has already matched and/or surpassed them functionality-wise. Imagine the rumored dual core Android handsets supposedly slated for later on this year...
