I know who I want to win this, but at this point, its all conjecture.
You have some major major releases scheduled for around then including GTAIV. I wanted to get this game but one game a month is pretty much my max. I have a feeling I'll lose enough life to GTAIV.
After seeing GTA IV's version of NYC, this looks like it may as well be LegoLand NYC. I'm just not impressed with these screenshots. Lets hope that a later build improves on this.

The littlest things can yank me out of the immersive experience into the game. The car's look very real, but the grass to the side is still a flat surface with 2d grass mapped on it. I know that even the current generation would croke rendering and putting physics to a realistic lawn of grass, but its really starting to bug me more and more. It doesn't matter what game I'm playing either. Sure you have your 3d'ish bushes and such, but not grass. The same goes for any small complex textur...

Let them keep up with the market and put in a larger drive for the same price every year or so. I'll pop in my own when/if I need one. It only makes sense when you have such an easily upgraded machine.

I finally got a chance to play Wii Sports Boxing and Baseball. It turns out I was giving the Wii WAY too much credit. I actually had thought it would precisely map hand movements allowing for realtime custom punches in boxing, and wielding a bat like a real bat with height adjustment, speed, power, etc. It turned out that there were set moves that the wiimote activated when you did set things. Kind of like wave the magic wand in the directions to do what a button push would normally. Aft...
The one in IV is less complete than the one in real life. Thats the kind of attention to detail that is just astounding. I guess they didn't want to finish the building as they weren't sure what it would look like and didn't want an anomaly in it. Very well done. I hope the graphics don't trump the game play though.
Its so easy to swap in a new drive on the PS3, I don't really care if they release a new version with a bigger HD standard. The key is we aren't locked into a single specific upgrade drive. Now if they were to release a PS3 with, oh say, double the number of cell processors or a newer GPU, then I'd be pretty annoyed.

I love hearing behind the scenes commentary and such. Wasn't near as exciting as some of the guesses people made at it though!
Let me be the first to suggest... maybe there's a secret code in the words used by the designers! Maybe if we took the first letters of all their words and spelled it out in Greek, then converted to Latin, then to English... yes it all makes sense now!
