If these guys have learned ANYTHING from Valve, then we could have an even bigger hit than L4D2 in the near future :) , at least on PC.
Valve has this distinct philisophy for competitive gaming that could just as well apply to assymmetric multiplayter titles such as this.
I like the amount of creativity MS put into the recent refinements & additions within DirectX. I liked even the new features of 11.1 and 11.2 . "Tiled textures" impressed me the most.

When both were first announced, my impressions were "they're making games that could've been Dead Island 1 mods" , but it seems they're pushing things further than I initially thought. I was very impressed with Dying Light's movement , depth and Hellraid's combat and visuals.
I know that most of us may be annoyed with all the fuss about gender equality in games, but if we look at this more objectively, it will surely move the industry forward. Having more females as lead heroes and not simply damsels in distress would be quite refreshing, don't you thnk?
I actually like that some make these kinds of diagrams. More would be appreciated. It's very refreshing to look at things with a more systematicized approach.
P.S. I think this year's E3 was great. In fact, quite better than E3 2013 IMHO.
Guys, why do you focus on the fact that Hendricks is an actual gamer? I mean, c'mon , he says he plays quite a lot and a sheer variety of games (sports sims, FPSs , MOBAs...) He came to E3 2014 for god's sake. He has curiosity towards gaming. That alone applies to the description of a true gamer
