Great Update!!
I don't really care who started it. But Sony is completely right on calling out bullshit policies that hold out the industry. So yeah Sony attack and fight for what's right, whether or not anybody started it. We need more of this kind of stuff in the industry. So we the gamers are informed on the different ways those in the industry are trying to screw us. No matter who it is.

The Gears one looks better in my opinion. This one kind of looks generic. But I got the Halo Reach console last year, so no new console for me.
Probably going to get the hardened edition. If it's still 80 then you're going to get the most bang for your buck that way. If the prestige edition has something cool I'm might get it. I got the Black Ops one last year and the car in it was pretty neat. Though I'm already picking up quite a few CE this year already.

I still play it occasionally, glad to see they reduced the wait times between matches, and finally made the radar jammier an active ability. And the death scream most definitely needed some work.
Yeah so I'm thinking about pre-ordering this, but I already have MotorStorm and I have Resistance pre-ordered and payed off. So if I pre-order this can I just get my 120 bucks off of the copies of Motorstorm and Resistance that come with it. So then the TV is only 380 or something like that. I think it's a great idea. The Halo series is one of my favorite and most of the time puts out great releases. I've just come to accept the fact that Halo is Microsoft's Mario. And as long as Microsoft is in the games industry there always will be Halo games. I did beat DA2 but I have to agree Witcher 2 stomped it in the nutsack.
This is what happens to a lot of sophmore debuts of games. The developer does to much change, probably because they really want to put in all the crazy ideas they had for the first and put it in the second. None the less they differentiate to much from the original and people, (including me sometimes), get a wee bit angry. So then for the third they have scale back to the original and find some balance.

Still going to get it on the PS3, as that's the platform that I've played all of the MGS series on Playstation. But I think it's great that people who don't have a PS3 and enjoyed MGS in the past can still get in on the HD collection. And who knows maybe Konami will finally put MGS4 on the 360 so those guys can experience it.
Yeah I highly doubt that all three of there teams are going to be working on new multiplatform games. I figure that they'll have at least one team making Ratchet and Clank or Resistance as a safety net, as they pretty much have guaranteed money with those franchises. They've done exceptionally better this gen, obviously. Taking that much market share from Sony was quite a feat. Even though I really don't use my 360 anymore,( and I don't think people who are stepping into this generation should buy a 360 over a PS3, just due to the value difference between the 2), Also with the amazing success they've had with live, Halo, and practicably making the Xbox the place you play CoD. Kind of gave me chills. And all those memories of first playing each of the Halo's and immensely enjoying them came flooding back. :)
Been playing it for about 2 hours and it's really good. A pretty drastic improvement over to which in imo was a major step back for the franchise.
As usual IGN's review falls in line with mine.
