So the Gamestop deal is in-store, I was kind of worried it was online only. I'm picking mine up today, I already have my memory card and Uncharted, so I just got to get the Vita and some games.

This game definitely should of sold more, was a masterpiece and on of the best games I played last year.

Bioshock wasn't too long, it was around 14 hours, just the right amount of time for a single player experience, hark ens back to the PS2 days when there was a good amount of length to a game that wasn't a RPG, a few examples, RE4 and God of War 1 and 2.

Probably because the LBP brand is way stronger than the Modnation Racers one. So if Sony wanted to do another carting game they decided it would probably be more easy to sell a LBP, at least that's what I think.

This won't happen, for one very important reason. No it's not that MS will look down on us peons and say hey you know what the consumer actually does have some rights if they buy it new, like lending or trading with a friend, and etc. No it will because there extrmemly influential and rich friends at the retailers specifically Gamestop, who make a lot of their money at the used game business, will tell them GTFO, we're not selling your Xbox 720.

Now as far as the ...

And remember there is a lot of car manufacture certified used dealerships, and regular dealerships, meaning in some instances a manufacture gets some control over that used car and makes money off of it. If Gamestops were certified by EA or something it would be closer to that but they're not, and there's too many publishers to even remotely go down that route.

They bought SuckerPunch when they were in that hole, actually they've bought a lot of studios since being on this four year decline. So if they're strategy is to continue to bolster their first party than QD is probably one of the most logical buys for them. Heavy Rain was a very nice success for them.

Again the 2 billion is irrelevant because they have a multigame deal with QD, you think they can fund multiple games, but not be able to buy them outright?

Well I do believe they are making money off of each unit sold so that probably helps them a bit. But I will say that maybe their internal projections for the initial sales were way lower than we think, seeing as how they probably watched how the 3DS stumbled out of the gate and based some of their projections off of that.

All I know is I can't wait to get mine on the 22nd.

This game is getting more and more interesting.

I agree with you, but I really don't try to make a distinction between Bioware and EA, Bioware has been so incorporated since being bought, that EA and Bioware are pretty much one in the same. And Bioware does an amazing job towing that corporate line.

Not really, RE5 was the best selling in the series.

Lol, exactly, all this bitching about Skyrim and Kingdoms. When the true WRPG king is the Witcher 2. CDprojeckt FTW.

I figure Sony is going to relaunch the IP after a few years, it'll make a good E3 surprise. I wonder if they're going to do anymore Ratchets? Cause I would imagine them having 3 teams, the two in Burbank that gave us Resistance and Ratchet, and the North Carolina team. Obviously they're capable of multiple games. I was figuring it was going to be Resistance and Overstrike. But maybe Insomniac, got to try out a more serious IP with Resistance, and just didn't like it as much as...

Jesus soon to get certain parts of the game you'll have to buy the Mass Effect cereal or underwear.

@Baodeus A lot on that list of yours is third party, If something like Kotor or Morrowind were to be remade, it's up to Bethesda or Lucusarts, not Microsoft, Microsoft only has the jurisdiction over the ones they published, and maybe not even that, they may need to own the IP. If you didn't know Munches Oddessy is getting an HD re-release on PC/PS3 and that was published by MS. A lot of those games on that list MS simply does't have the rights to.

Just buy the game new, if you buy it a week later when it's used you're only saving like five bucks, just pony up the five bucks and you'll have an online pass.

Remedy owns Alan Wake, Quantum Dream owns Heavy Rain, Insomniac owns Overstrike, Silicon Knights owns Too Human, Valve owns Half-Life and everything else they make.

You're all wrong, just because someone did it first does not mean if they hadn't done it, it would of never happened. Implementing an online service into a console was a pretty obvious next step, as broadband and faster internet speeds were becoming prevalent in the early to mid 2000s. One of the companies would have done it, would it have been as good as it is today?, who knows. But it defiantly would have happened. It's sort of like 3D graphics or the modern controller, those we...

Actually Capcom doesn't have to listen to any of you, its their creative endeavor they can do whatever they want.

Japanese devs and publishers seem to be getting better at this, taking the example set by the west, and revealing games a year or two before release. It's a good change for them.
