Sony will never have a new I.P in the same level as say Gears of War. There isn't a single PS3/Sony game that has sold more than 1m in the United States (only exception was the launch title Resistance).
Resistance is a franchise that should be killed already. Many tought it would be a hit after the modest sales of the original game, but after how bad Resistance 2 performed, Sony should forget about this mediocre franchise.
Xbox 360 is the better console anyway.

Best online, superior multiplatform games, Achievements, userbase, etc. Those are some of the reasons why the Xbox 360 is the best HD console to own.
