I say that gaming should make you forget that you have something in your hand. Using Sixaxis lets me know there is a device in my hand, DS lets me know i have a pen in my hand, Kinect lets me know i have my hands in my face.
The best thing is to leave a controller to be as inconspicuous as possible to make the game feel as real as it can get.

These guys play in a professional league and spend all there time playing call of duty. Instead of a 9-5 theyre doing 9AM-3AM the next day practising.
