@Hutch
You can NOT be serious. Are you? Have you checked my submission history? Firstly, yes I don't like Microsoft. However, don't even begin to imply I go around posting Anti-MS articles all the time. This is probably like the first one ever. And actually, this isn't even an Anti-MS article. This is just bad news for them. It's not like it's some article written that's just bashing Microsoft. It's news that has come out on a case involving them. Is it bad news for them? Yes. Is it bas...

I'm with y'all. I'd much rather have a new Elder Scrolls game. I really really enjoyed Fallout 3, but I enjoyed Elder Scrolls more. The setting definitely is much better like dude above mentioned. It is sad that they'll be bypassing that for more wasteland stuff. Though I'm sure Fallout Vegas will be fun, I really was hoping I'd get a new Elder Scrolls game sooner rather than later/never.

While I really really want to get my hands on this and play this epic game as soon as possible, I think that's a very brilliant release date. I've said it before, but this game needs to practically be on a release date island all to itself. A game like this will sink or swim all based on its community. As such, it needs to be released without anything big near it. Late January sounds like a good time for that. That will give gamers time to finish up what's coming out this fall and holiday sea...

Ok, I don't like the nickle and diming stuff, but this is NOT what this is. I have no problem whatsoever with them giving gamers some incentive to buy new. Afterall, developers as a whole are combating used game sales. This is a nice way to approach that "war" and try to get the upper hand. I have no problem with it. Plus, it's not even like they're just giving things to a select group of people. You just have to actually buy the game new instead of screwing them out of their money ...

Forget renting it, buy it definitely. Anybody that's a fan of JRPG or strategy games will love this game. I did, also, love everything about this game. From the style to the execution and gameplay to the story. Just amazing. But I do have to agree with you on that one point: Multiplayer/Battle mode. Now I'm not a big multiplayer gamer at all, but the gameplay here is so perfectly written for multiplayer that it would've "wrote itself" so to speak. That could've definitely been fun. ...

@raz
Easily indeed.

I loved this game it was awesome. Everything about it I liked. It truly was a beautiful game and a masterpiece of sorts. I don't care for portable gaming that much, but this game was so awesome, that I'll definitely be borrowing a friend's PSP just to play VC2. I'd would absolutely go crazy for a sequel on the PS3. This is quite possibly my second favorite game this gen. Just behind Uncharted.

Hmm, this is interesting. However, it does leave some questions that beg to be asked. First off, where is proof of this? Secondly, are we talking PSN type titles here that are priced at those prices? Or are we talking like the full games that are being put on PSN for the Go! since it has no physical drive? Cause the first one there is no big deal at all as that's not that huge a drop for alot of PSN titles. BUT if it's the latter, then that's HUGE news. However, that seems unlikely that they'...

This is actually some very cool tech right here. It will be interesting to see where it goes. Would like to see it get worked out to where they can get rid of the necessity of having to walk around with all that stuff strapped to you. But indeed this is really cool stuff. Truly is some Minority Report type tech.

For some reason I just found it funny that the entire crowd just erupted in applause when he dialed that number on his hand, that part of all parts.

Well I will undoubtedly be enjoying the finest racing sim from the day it drops. However, I guess I'll be missing that "best racing experience" you mention, as I would never spend that much money for a controller that I'll use for just one (maybe two) games. I cannot see how people pay that much for a wheel. I mean I'd love to have it, but for almost $300? You can keep that junk. Dumbfounds me even more cause I don't see how people can buy so many different games of the same type to...

@Willio
LOL That's actually kind of a fun game to play. However, it's disheartening at the same time, because HHG gets so much attention that this is what people have to put up with. Also, it's a testament to how illiterate kids are these days.

By the way, I actually count 9 in that first sentence alone. Plus, the fact that that entire sentence should be like 4 sentences.

This is funny though. HHG tries to act like hate towards him is unwarranted. He says ther...

His grammar is atrocious. His literacy is questionable. His writing, as a whole, is laughable at best. Yet he's considered a "journalist". Makes me sad really.

And how? Because anytime he posts something, he rallies up his buddies who swarm the site and quickly approve anything and everything that comes from there. Just a quick background check on some of the people the approved this will show you that.

Ok, I'm about to get flamed here, but.....personally, I've always enjoyed Splinter Cell more than Metal Gear. I've had quite a fun time with SC games in the past. However, MGS never drew me in. I played a lil bit (granted not much at all), but I used to watch my cousin play the games all the time. Just never drew me in. So I think personally, yes I would have more fun with Conviction (which DOES look awesome btw), than I would MGS4. I did play the demo for MGS4 though (just to give it one mor...

You're right cmrbe. It would be the worst idea to release the Slim with the fat model still on the market and have both models at $299. However, I think the more likely strategy will be to announce the the Slim and announce a release date for it that will be later down the line. And in that time, leading up to the Slim's release, they'll drop the price on the fat model to clear it out (which is already running low as it is as it seems Sony has stopped shipping them to retailers and stopped pr...

No you're not. In fact there was an article here the other day that made that point and joked about how Sony must hate the French at this point.

6143d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

God I hope they do reveal it. JUST so we can get past this stuff. Plus it will be fun to see what other speculation and fad starts to take place after that.

How in the world are those the two options? Where do you get the unexpected Microsoft showstealer? Fanboy maybe? As far as everybody knows though, MS's answer is their own "price cut".

6143d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

@Sterio
I was actually thinking the same thing. Wondering how that could be a price cut. However, upon researching it, it seems over in Europe that the price in Euros for a PS3 right now is 399Euros. Same as the dollar amount here in the US (which means they're paying actually 570 US Dollars as of now). So I guess that would translate to them charging $299 over here as well? I don't know. But technically yea, that is a price cut for them.

I thought about that Nineball. You do make a valid point. I guess my counter-argument could be that, with the rumor going around through the summer months (which are typically slow for games and console sales), maybe they figured the trade-in was worth it to get all that hype built up free of charge. Of course, it also doesn't take away from sales as much as actually coming out and saying something as alot of people won't hear about it. And with no official word, many will ignore it for the t...

The slim will be cheaper to manufacture, so yes. That's the nature of the slim. Sorta less/smaller parts=less cost. Which also goes along with the whole "we've cut 70% off the production cost" that Sony said a lil while back.

6144d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm not entirely sure Sony ever wanted to keep the secret in the first place Nineball. After so many leaks this gen, you gotta start questioning it. I mean, no company can be THAT bad at keeping secrets. They did well with keeping stuff like FF14, Agent, etc. This is just like the PSP Go really, and I said it before so I'll say it again: Tretton was way too nonchalant when he mentioned that leak at E3, that I have to suspect it might have been intentional. And we know Sony likes word-of-mouth...
