And I doubt it's as big as E3, though it probably got up near there real quick as far as importance goes. This IS the premiere show in EU now that it has dethroned Leipzig. So just think of this as Europe's big show, just like E3 is America's big show and TGS is Japan's big show.

Agreed. That's why I mentioned personal preference. But to actually go full out with it and say there can be no winner of a console generation, that's being naive. I'm sure some people preferred gaming on the xbox rather than the ps2 last gen, but I think we can all clearly see and admit that ps2 won last gen hands down. Just like Wii will seemingly win this generation hands down.

I'm not entirely sure about day one (just because I already have SOOO much to buy this fall), however I will definitely, undoubtedly be getting this game. The point is simply that a rep said the prices weren't coming down anytime soon. Calm down, that doesn't necessarily have to be some anti-Sony sentiment or something. The fact is BD's cost a fair bit more than DVDs at this point and people have been wondering when they'll drop in price now that the technology is older and it's becoming more and more popular. I'd say that's pretty accurate of my take on the predictions as well. With just one difference: I am a believer lol. But yea, I do think we'll hear about the Slim there. Just have to at this point. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they did show some kind of reinvigorated support for PSeye, just to push it leading up to motion control and eyepet, etc. Though I'm not sure reinvigorated would be right.
