"It could have been USB and plugged into the PS2 or even the PS3 for those who wanted to play PSP games on a big screen."
You realize you can play your PSP on the big screen right? Buy the composite cables for the PSP and hook it directly up to your tv. Don't even need the ps2 or the ps3 in that case. And voila, there you have it: psp games and umd movies right on your big screen.
He can't do sh!t about this. Sony is covered in the Terms of Agreement saying they can do these things when people do the things he did. Idiot.
^Coincide with a tv show? Eh that sounds a lil weird. Heard nothing like that. I would think it's probably more likely that they delayed it to coincide with motion control (there are rumors that motion control would later be implemented into Eyepet) and Eyepet would be a nice lil launch title for the younger and family demographic when the controls come.
As for the DLC, I'd almost bet on that too. Maybe not new animals, but different items to play with and clothing, etc.
I agree with this comment for the most part. At least the basics of it: in order to see these differences you really have to be trying. I mean I see all the time people comparing the two and touting how one is better than the other and I have yet to see one that it noticeably worse than the other. They're both the same unless you meticulously scour every frame of each game side by side just looking to start crap. I mean come on, when you're having to work that hard to find a difference, then ...
I've had a couple friends now tell me that the whole RPG/FPS hybrid thing was blown out of proportion. That, while the game does have a couple RPG elements, it's pretty much just a shooter. Said it was much more just a straight shooter than Fallout 3 ever was (now THAT was a game that I felt really combined FPS/RPG). That's what I was afraid of though: that Borderlands would end up being pretty much just a shooter with some leveling up aspects in and such to give the appearance of RPG. Knowin...
I have a friend who is a converted gamer now (from xbox to ps3). He recently made the plunge and bought a ps3 after the slim hit and the price drop. What sold him was he came over one day and I let him play KZ2. He was pretty much floored and I wasn't able to play my ps3 again the entire weekend he stayed over lol. He's primarily a racer and shooter gamer, but I convinced him to give Uncharted a try (Drake's Fortune that is---and no that's not a shooter game). That was just the other day that...
No. It got delayed til early next year (spring I think) here in North America.
Exactly. Sony puts alot of Indie games on PSN. Giving all these small-time developers a place to shine. The only difference is that you have to shine in order to get Sony to put it on there. Can't just have anybody and their momma put a game on there. I actually think that's a good thing. I don't want to have to dig through tons of crap to find the good games. It's worse than finding the best levels on LBP.
There will be two Ratchet demos, however only one is coming tomorrow. The other will be released later.
$20? Seriously? If that's true, that might just bump Trine off my list. Just not paying that much for the game.
I don't know why this site lists it as a rumor that the demo will come, but Sony themselves has confirmed that the first of two Ratchet demos will be coming tomorrow.

Nice to finally see Trine show up. Though at this point I'm going to have to agree with ^that guy, I'm just way too busy with UC2 (and a couple others) that Trine is going to take a backseat right now. But I'll definitely get around to it. Been anticipating that game.
This actually looks pretty cool. Too bad it's only in Europe.
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones? I also haven't really had any problems with the game. No glitches that I've seen. However, the game did freeze on me once. But only once, and it wasn't that big of a deal. I had been playing for several hours when it happened. It actually happened the exact same place that MuGoldenEagle mentioned (the battle). Luckily though it autosaved after that, and when I restarted the game it picked up after the place that it froze. So it didn't hinder me at all really...
Nice review. This is more what I was expecting for the game. Seemed to me THQ was really working to step up their game with this iteration of the game (like EA did with Madden this year). Everything I read really seemed to point at that and seems this site agrees. Guessing some of these developers with yearly release games are starting to realize that you can't just keep bringing the same thing every year, have to step it up. I haven't bought a SvR game in a while, but I'll definitely be pick...
No way. I enjoyed Fallout 3. But in my opinion it doesn't really touch Oblivion. Oblivion was just better all around for me. The world was better, there seemed to be more variety to the game. Just more fun for me. Of course it also helps that when it comes to games like that I just prefer the swords/bows fantasy world like that rather than the shooting.
I wouldn't necessarily call it horrible. In fact, I kinda liked the idea of the leveling system. The only thing was that it seemed kinda backwards or something. Like if you put your most used skills as your minor skills, it actually worked real good.
I gotta agree with the others that I'd put Valkyria Chronicles higher. In fact, for me, I'd put it as my number one. That would be followed closely by Oblivion for me. Though I still haven't got the chance to play Demon's Souls. Very much looking forward to it though.
I agree with Mastiff (and disagree with a number of people above). I actually like this score. No game is perfect and there should be no perfect scores (I don't care how y'all try to spin it, 10/10 or 100/100 is a perfect score, plain and simple and that should be reserved for unprecedented perfection). I think sites are way too lenient with scores these days. I mean we get at least a few "perfect" games every year if we go by review scores from many sites. That just doesn't sound r...
@Ultimate Idiot
LOL That's funny actually. My dad's a big nascar fan and I'm always giving him sht about not understanding how he enjoys it when all they do is drive in a circle for hours on end. "Number 45 making a left turn now.....oh my god, here comes another left turn".
@cmrbe
I agree. I think this GT should prove to be huge. This feature sounds pretty damn awesome itself. I am expecting big things from this game though (as if things aren't big enough ...
