Amazon my friend. Up for £24.99 in the UK, not sure about the US.
Assess Platinum difficulty. If Platinum is feasable I will check out a road map and follow the suggested playthrough/s
If not, I will just play the game once, unless I dislike the game. I'm looking at your Resident Evil 5!!!
I prefer SP over MP too.
I just find multiplayer games get very repetitive after 2-3 days, leveling up just doesn't do anything for me.
Totally agree, but we can't resist clicking on the link can we? Which in turn leads to more page hits, which means flame bait articles are here to stay...
But how extreme can one get "well this college has more xboxes than PS3's, surely this means the PS3 sucks!"
I do exactly the same. I just got God of War 3, Castlevania LoS and Pro Evo 2011 for £55 (around $70-80?) from Amazon. Two of those were released less than a month ago!
One reason is price, the other reason being that I know most of the bugs will be ironed out before I play it.
GT5 is the exception to the rule of course ;)
Do we really need dozens of articles spamming N4G about the same game with the same bug for days on end? Of course we do, because there's nothing better than reading about the same game, and the same bugs over and over and over...
Black Ops is so shit etc etc, but can we please have 10 million articles just so we are all clear about it? Thanks.
Surely the 50 articles per day about Black Ops bugs/wonder kill/any other pointless factoid is getting tedious now? How about some news on the PoP HD release today? Or AC Brotherhood? Not everyone plays COD day in day out ffs...
Broadband will take another 5-10 years before it is fast enough in enough homes for digital download to take over discs. And I quote...
"The fact is, and our broadband record shows, that despite significant private investment and some strong strides over the last decade, America's broadband ecosystem is not nearly as robust as it needs to be. Right now, the vast majority of Americans don't have broadband fast enough to take advantage of remote video learning or...
@ThatsGaming
Very few people bought Blu-Ray? Based on what? Look on any electrical goods website and look at the ratio of Blu-Ray players to DVD players. I bet your one of those people who think the IPhone is rubbish - classic "it's overblown hype because I dont have one" statement.
As for the multiplat issues, it's easier to put a DVD sized game onto Blu-Ray than the other way round. People will always take the route with the least resi...
Got this when Amazon had it listed for £28 2 months ago (last time I checked the price had doubled). I bought it with F1 2010 and GT5 in mind. For the price I think it is a great option for those unwilling to lash out huge amounts. Plus it sits on your lap nice and snug :)
Absolutely agree on every level. Sometimes I think I must be the only person who doesn't go balls deep into multiplayer. I understand the poularity, but my experiences say it is mainly younger players who have bucket loads of time on their hands. I'm 33 and can cram in about 5-10 hours a week on gaming, at the moment I have a backlog of about 10 games i want to play (single player games/modes), there is no way I could dedicate any time on multiplayer without giving up on other games a...
Absolutely - the word "helpful" does not exist on multiplayer.
Anyone consider the average Japenese household might be too small? Have you seen the size of the apartments in Tokyo for example? I'm pretty sure there is some kind of minimal range requirement for Move.
I would buy it, but my front room layout i.e where my TV is positioned just wont work with Move.
...the UK gets no such incentives. Clearly Amazon doesn't think we need/deserve any.
Wow I feel so enlightened by your gaming choice. What other worthy comments do you have in store for us??
On white bread I like peanut butter, jam and chocolate spread.
On my brown bread I only have butter.
Are Gamestop now the authority figure in release dates? Are we all to bow to the mighty knowledge and great honesty of retail outlets?? This "article" is worthy of an employed/paid persons time???
Gaming journalism has truely lost its way...
@TABSF
I think you're missing the point. The so called "DLC" was already created before the game was released - essentially they are saying "hey' I'm gonna make you pay twice as much to play the whole game"
@LOOK_AT_THIS_I
Completely agree, if muppets keeping buying, sensible gamers are going to suffer. I'm never going to buy a new game until a few months after release so I can see how much of the ga...
How can someone spell "boards" wrong twice in quick succesion and not notice it?
Other than a grammar gripe - looking forward to more correctly spelled details!
That made me laugh, I just had to hand you a disagree.
The day I listen to some 40+ year old suit who works for a a glorified market research company about gaming, is the day it all stops for me.
