This is another sign of piss poor planning. Lets turn the clock back a bit when MS was pushing for the whole digital download plan before they 180ed it. WTF were they planning to do once your 500 gigs was taken up? Factor in all the game installs, apps (like the TV crap) plus DLC for games and 500g is nothing.

Im getting both, and even a Wii U for the wife. I can forgive MS on many things, but honest to God the lack of a solid release date and scaling back on the regions scares me. Both consoles will do well, but I think a launch delay on MS' part will REALLY turn a lot of gamers to PS4 exclusively. I can wait to play Ghosts and BF4 till late November on X1, but anything beyond that and I will pick them up for PS4 and leave X1 behind. Take it for what it's worth, but my Walmart just recently started taking preorders for both systems in store. They wanted to be sure they have enough consoles to meet the demand. Once they're gone, they'll stop taking them. It costs 10% down and both systems are still available as of last night. They're doing the old school Toys R Us system with x amount of tags printed up that you bring to the register and pay.
