On what planet is this actually news?
It's the DLC effect. Whenever a new DLC is announced for a popular game, everybody says they are happy with what they have and that they don't want to spend X amount of dollars on extra content for an already great product. When said DLC releases however, low and behold they have all clamored to get said DLC because they don't want to miss out on any content for the game they already spent 60+ dollars on. I will admit that I am very much a part of this issue, but at the end of the...
Honestly, I think it depends on the game. I actually had this discussion a gamestop rep about a week ago. I brought up that I can barely run inquisition at a solid 20 fps on my laptop but that, for a game like inquisition, that doesn't really matter much. As long as I cab play the game without any game breaking slowdown, then I'm happy. It seems to me that action games like bayonetta and ninja Gaiden are framer ate really matters. But RPGs like dragon age don't need a great frame...
On a comparative basis with install base, bayonetta 2 better than bayonetta 1.
The English direct where it was announced. Splitting games up like that is a normal practice in japan.
While it may not look great graphically, it's Itagaki. This guy makes making badass action games look easy. I mean he is a total badass, if that video was anything to go by. Either way, he's got the pedigree with this type of game to ensure that this game is going to be awesome. Also, that multiplayer looks like so much crazy fun!
I already paid off my pre-order at Gamestop several weeks ago, I'm more than ready for this game to come out.
Make that a third one. Barring any drastic changes in the quality of the game, I will be buying it.
You guys do realize that the separate versions are only releasing in Japan right? Those of is in the US are getting both of the campaigns in one game.
It is, and Treyarch tends to be the only CoD developer that actually does attempt to change the formula.
See what happens when you properly market games Nintendo? You get the pleasure of apologizing for not shipping enough copies to meet demand. If I'm Nintendo, I am overjoyed to be delivering that apology because it means I sold more copies than I thought I was going to sell. And in business that is a very good problem to have.
There is a big difference between sell-through numbers and unit sales. Sell through is a measure of the number sold compared to the number supplied. Splatoon sold through 97% of it's shipment, where Bloodborne (while still having higher sales numbers) sold through 87% of its shipment. It's not a hard concept.
No, you're not the only person who got the joke. It was too stupid of a video to not be a joke.
Most console games don't use anit=aliasing.
Probably something like an hour and a half, no less than an hour.
It would take way longer than 45 minutes, you forget that he would have to run through Oblivia, then partway through Primordia and into Sylvalum, into and through all of Cauldros, back through Cauldros and Sylvalum to Primordia, and lastly through Primordia to the end of Noctilum. At that speed the round trip from to Culdros and back would add at least another twenty minutes the overall time. Realistically you're probably looking at an hour minimum for that whole trip.
I stopped caring about SMS and Project CARS when they delayed a version of the game they had been working for 5 years in favor of releasing ports on all the other systems, but this just infuriates. How do they expect us to trust them with our money when all they do is use for something other than what they said they were going to use it for. It has been five years since you started development on this game SMS, and you're not even halfway done?! I'm done, I'm never trusting them w...
But keep in mind the companies that were saying it was underpowered. Namely EA. This was also on the heels of their "deal" with EA to get a ton of EA's new games on the system. Well, guess what, that deal never happened. Additionally, at the time, there were a lot of third party devs saying it wasn't underpowered. This leads me to believe that EA called it underpowered out of spite. Now, I know that EA was not the only company saying that, but when a company that you made a ...
Sure we may not play them for that, but they become so much more compelling when you are faced with actually difficult moral decisions. That's one of the reasons I enjoy Dragon Age so much, it's not just a good/bad situation. Each side has a good point and what you choose says a lot about you as a person. Take this example. In Awakening there is a decision you have to make as the Warden-Commander regarding the issuance of land that has valid claims from two Lords. You can choose to gi...
I've been saying this since the digital event. People need to calm down, every company has a bad E3 every now and then. But complaining and mocking the company does nothing to help the perception of gamers in the media. It makes us look entitled and ungrateful. We are lucky they even deem us worthy enough to play games that they make. People need to grow up and stop being entitled, there is a better way to show that you're unhappy with a presentation than mocking the company and actin...
